For interview programmes, candidates securing high marks in the entrance exam is given higher rank. For B.Tech, B.Arch and BDS programmes, the rank is allotted by the agency conducting the test.

Selected candidates are required to complete their admission formalities as per the admission process declared by the Jamia Millia Islamia. Shortlisted candidates are required to attend the counselling as per the schedule and bring the following documents at the time of admission.

In case where many courses or branch are there in one programme, the candidate will be allotted the course or branch as per the preference filled in the application form, strictly as per merit and the admission rules of Jamia Millia Islamia. For upgradation of course or branch, the candidate has to take admission and fill a form at the time of admission, if he or she wants to retain the allotted course or branch or want to upgrade.
