The real story of Jaypee University of Information and Technology.

Placements: There is no placement cell in the college. For placement, one has to go to JIIT, Noida where priority is given to Noida students, which decreases our chance of placement and some other companies also don't invite us for placement. One or two companies come to our college for placement.

Good placements for my batch.

Placements: Placements are good you will get lots of chances and a great pool of companies to get placed if you have the talent. Almost all students got placed. The average salary is 3.5 lacs and the highest salary is 21 lacs. Roles offered are from analyst to system engineers. Internships are not that good so you will have to go out of campus to get internships.

Beautiful college with decent placements but less exposure.

Placements: The placements stats of the college from the past few years have been very good with about 2+ job offers to every student. For the current batch 2013-2017, the placements are still going on with over 90% overall students placed until now. The highest package was offered by Amazon to a single student for 22 LPA and the average package goes around 3.6 LPA. Many companies visit the campus including mass recruiters like Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant. Other good companies like Amazon, Paytm, Zomato E...

Good college with average placements, good infrastructure, and less recreational activities.

Placements: The placements for 2012-2106 batch was very good with 100% placement for the ones who opted to sit for placements. Many good companies like Amazon, Zomato, Paytm etc. and mass recruiters like Infosys, Ericsson, Cognizant, Wipro etc. were a part of the visiting companies. For 2013-2017 batch, the placements are still going on with approximate 80% placed till now. The highest package paid till now is 22 lacs by Amazon, the lowest is 2.5 lacs and the average package is around 4 lacs. Companies tha...

Promising good placement and Infrastructure.

Placements: In Jaypee, the placement percentage is quite good and it was up to 82% in our seniors (2012-2016) batch. This year(2017), it is about 80% till now and the companies are still coming. Again, your placement depends on various factors your technical knowledge, your academics performance(6 CGPA is good but if you have more then have more opportunities to get shortlisted in a number of companies), your attitude, and the last but most important, luck. Jaypee calls mass recruiter companies like Infosys...

Really good college but with passage of time college is losing its grace.

Placements: Avg. package is 3.5 lacs for year 2015-16. 100% placement for cse. Highest salary was 26 lacs in Amazon. Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, EY, Cognizant, SAP Labs, Click Labs and many more. Very good faculty. Joint placement with JILT Noida. For CSE, it is the best. No core companies for electronics, civil- negligible placement.

Major recruiters were Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro. Deloitte for IT and EY for consulting. Job roles offered were all related to the IT/ITES Sector.

LIFE @ JUIT- paradise at earth, average placements, beautiful campus

Placements: Placements of 2015 and 2014 batch were very nice and above par. The highest package stands at 21 lacs p.a offered by Amazon. Placement for the year 2016 is not up to the mark like of the previous years. Still, Amazon has offered 26 lacs as the highest package. Most of the companies visit the Noida branch, and placements are bilateral. Core companies of ECE and Civil doesn't visit more as compared to CSE and IT branch. The overall placement stands for more than 100% for CSE and IT. The average p...

The infrastructure was very good with well-built classrooms. You can find a wide range of books in every subject related to your field of study. The hostel is on twin sharing basis and each room is provided with a bed, a Godrej almirah, a study table, a chair, wall hanging racks and a standing rack. The placement record for my batch was hundred percent. Most of them got placed in Infosys and Accenture. But if you have good coding abilities and the required potential, then you can also have a cha...

People do B.Tech because of following reasons: 1. Good placements: this year 52 Computer Science companies visited our campus (they hired ECE students also) 2. The level of education: GATE rank holder (6th. Rank) is from our college. 2 people who joined IMA (Indian military academy) are from our college too. 3. Location (exclusive) just 19 km from Shimla. 4. Many secondary factors like good infrastructure, good brand name etc.

Just can be considered one of the best places to have a hostel life. The weather and the location definitely contribute to it. Placements are not that great especially in my year but overall they do their best to give students opportunity to at least get one offer. The best part I would say us the JYC which helps students to develop some hobby and persist with it over the 4 years you spend there.

The college is situated at approximately 2KM from Shimla-Chandigarh Highway. The faculty is good with a good student to teacher ratio .The infrastructure is good but sporting facilities are very less with only 1 small open ground .The fees is around 2Lakh per annum including hostels, mess ,laundry .The placements are better than average colleges with few start-ups visiting the campus and offering 5+ lakh packages. The highest package was 21Lakh offered by Amazon. Worth your money and time.

It's a good college, one of the best medical colleges in Karnataka situated in Bangalore-Mangalore highway and away from the city. A good place to study and there is nothing for distraction. Dhabas are available of south Indian style, faculty members are from nearby Bangalore and Mysore. 24 hours bus service is available.

The college is up to the mark in terms of faculties and course designs. The college emphasis on peer learning through group projects and interactions with faculty members. They encourage class participation and focuses on class learning through minimum of 80 % attendance. I studied in ECE and it encompasses all the necessary subjects of electronics, professional development, economics, computer science which helps in campus placements.

The first thing you will notice about the college is the beautiful campus spread over 25 acres with 600,000 sqft area in picturesque slopes of Himachal Pradesh. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. The infrastructure of the hostel is of top quality. Rules for attendance are strict and hence you can't miss too many classes. The mess and cafeteria food is very tasty and nutritious. The balance between studies and co-curricular activities is well maintained. Sports facilities ...

Civil branch does not provide any placement opportunity. No exposure to external environment. No any nearby educational institutions. Civil teachers are good, placement for CS, IT branch is very good. It has very beautiful infrastructure which will occupy your mind and you would love to live here. Hostel life is very good and the facilities are very good as compared to other colleges.

USIT is considered as the best college for b.tech in the I.P University. We have to be self-independent for the study. The teachers are experienced but are very lazy and don't teach well. Campus is just so good and big. Attendance is not such a big issue as you just have to maintain it above 75%. There are many gardens and also a big sports ground. The best thing is the location and the weather. When it comes to administration, it can be a lot better. Education part, some teachers are exceptionally great and some are not. Obviously you will always get a mixed bag everyone. Frankly speaking, when it comes to engineering, it’s your interest and dedication that can help you understand things.
