The greatest thing about JUIT is the location, the hilly surroundings make you fall in love with the place. But this also has a disadvantage as you have nowhere to go except for Shimla which is like an hour's bus ride. As far as the Crowd is concerned I believe it has a pretty good crowd (at least it had in my times). Faculty is pretty decent but some people definitely need to be replaced with better ones. Mandatory attendance and Uniform may seem it like a school but you get to it pretty quickl...

Situated between hills, it has a perfect location and atmosphere for studies. It has requisite laboratories and equipment essential for practical application. Students can review their performance through Web kiosk after tests. There should be more interactive discussions and debates held and a platform must be provided so that students can develop interpersonal skills as well.

Overall atmosphere of the college is very good. Most of the teachers are from IIT's and NIT’s, and are very experienced too. Infrastructure is state of the art. Decorum of the college is well maintained. Some shortcomings are, since it is at a secluded place so extracurricular activities take a hit. There is nothing nearby the college. For buying a small thing you need to visit Shimla which is 20 kms away. Otherwise the college is very good.

JUIT is located at very good location, that’s one of best things about JUIT. It is located at Waknaghat which is around 20 kms far from Shimla. Another good thing is the faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of education is very good. Institute offers Btech courses in CSE, ECE, IT, Biotech and Civil Engineering. The campus is very beautiful covering 25 acres. The hostels are provided for girls and boys separately. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The food provided...

Classes are interactive. It has a vast green campus situated among the tall green forest and hills. It’s like love at first sight with this place. Course is designed to provide vast knowledge. Though sometimes, you will feel that you are lacking an interaction with the outside world.

A good college if you are willing to study in a private college in Himachal Pradesh. Not much of the opportunities available nearby but a great place to if you know how to utilize the time efficiently. The faculty members are very good and very warm. Every teacher has its own way of teaching and they are perfect in their own way. The labs are sufficiently equipped and the technicians are quite well skilled unlike many of the other which do not have such facilities for their students. JUIT is ni...

Exceptionally beautiful campus with great facilities and weather that just felt heaven to the students. But contrary to that, the faculty and placement were not that up to the mark, they are average. You will get average knowledge and average placement unless you are eager to do something extraordinary but you will not get support from any corner. So, it’s a safe bet to get into this college if you want to enjoy your college life, living on hills with beautiful weather and being satisfied with a...

My college, apart from its good location, provides a quality education with the best faculty members in all the branches. Especially I would like to mention about the placements from this college, it has a record of 90% in overall placements, yearly.

The most beautiful 4 years of my life. I can remember each and every day of those 4 years and cherish it. Its awe inspiring beauty is commendable. Built on the slopes of Himalayas with cold and pleasant climate throughout the year, you are always above the clouds. Just search for the images and see for yourself. It’s quite isolated from the main cities around it (Solan and Shimla). So there is no population/pollution around it. It’s just the place to chillax. Now, you could not have found an env...

JUIT has been listed numerous times as one of the most beautiful engineering campuses in India. The serene surroundings for 4 years always gave me that feel good factor. Curriculum wise the faculty is quite abreast and some known names in the industry fill the vital positions. The placements are above average, however IT companies are the main recruiters. But rest assured about campus life - state of the art hostels, lush green campus, tech-savvy classrooms and huge amphitheater. Also, the state...

As soon as you enter the campus, you will just fall in love with the beauty and the atmosphere of the college or campus. I would say that the crowd and campus life is really nice for people who can adjust easily. The mess is nice (as compared to what I have heard in other colleges) especially breakfast and lunch.(dinner you can avoid ). To compensate for the dinner the college has enough Dhabas for that. The college has a youth club which helps students learn/enhance their skills in different ...

College placement record is good .Crowd is good but faculty members are not so good. But I’ll recommend this college for students to join. Lots of companies come to this college for CSE and ECE but not for civil branch. Students come from all over the North India. College campus is good but location isn't so good.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The highest salary package offered off campus is 50 LPA. Many students go for off-campus placements and get placed with good salary packages.

Good placement this year but not satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: I'm a 3rd-year student of the Computer Science and Engineering department. So I know very well about the condition of placement. Almost everyone gets a placement offer from my branch but very few go into good companies like Google and Amazon. Most of the students got placed in mass recruiters. Earlier they didn't use to offer any internship from their side but this year they are also trying for the internship for us. The average package is about 4.5 LPA.

Overall, JUIT has very good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students got placed this year. The highest package offered is 28.4 LPA by Amazon, the lowest package is 2.25 LPA, and the average package is 3.6 LPA. Google and Amazon are the top recruiters. Full-stack coder roles are offered. Around 70% of the students got internships in companies like Trident, BSNL etc.

I had a good experience at this college.

Placements: Placements so far were pretty good in our college. Right now, more than 150 students got paced, and some students even got more than one job offer. The highest salary package offered would be of 8 LPA, as of now, and the average salary package offered in our college is 4 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Nissan, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., and many management companies also like Byju's visited the campus for placements. Students mostly get a software consultant role. College is good. There are ups and downs in everything, so is the case with this college.

Placements: The placement scenario has been seen to be improving lately. This year the condition is better than last years condition. Many of my seniors just got placed in mass recruiting companies. Earlier, many students would be left unplaced, but this time things are changing.

We are dissatisfied only by the placement committee, so they need to work on it ASAP.

Placements: The placement scheme in our campus for the civil department is poor. A very few companies visit our campus for placements, and a very few students get placed through campus placements. The civil department says that they are working on placement schemes, but results aren't satisfactory enough.

Jaypee college, a life you can never experience before.

Placements: Placements in our college are just like other private colleges. Companies that visit the college for placement are mostly CS and IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Byjus. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA by Byjus, and the average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. Top roles offered were mainly Marketing and Code testers. Only 3-4% did their internships in last summer vacations. Some students got Rs.15,000 per month stipend, while some did it forsake. There's a placement cell headed ...
