Great infrastructure but placements not up to expectations.

Placements: The placements were not up to expectations. The percentage of students placed was below expectations and the number of companies visiting this year is also very few. Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, roots analysis were amongst the few companies which visited our college. There were many internships. The highest stipend was 26,000, the lowest was 3,000 and the average was 5,000.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, curriculum, administration and everything.

Placements: Till now, the placement is good. JUIT, Solan has the common placement with JIIT, Noida, i.e., the students from here go to JIIT, Noida to participate in the placement activities there. Paymaster is Amazon, and the mass recruiter is Infosys. Besides this many startups eagerly takes the students from here. If you are a CSE student with CGPA 6.5 or above, then you don't have to worry about the placements.

This will be the best experience of your life in case of placement, studies and friends.

Placements: You can get placements in marketing companies and also research analysis companies. A job in core companies is a myth but it's fine over there. Companies like Roots Analysis, Think And Learn, and some other companies that give you the post of a market analyst. Also, IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant can take you in.

JUIT and whether it is a good option to opt or should you take a drop this year and prepare again.

Placements: If you desire to pursue a career in the field of software engineering, JUIT can get you a job in at least mass recruiters. JUIT has a common placement cell at JIIT-Noida where a lot many companies recruit in the final year. Except for the mass recruiters, you have MNCs like Amazon, Google, Hike, Browserstack, Kuliza, Deloitte, Capital IQ, Paytm, etc. The salary offered ranges from 5 LPA to 30 LPA.

Best location and placements.

Placements: Jaypee is the best in Himachal in terms of placements. We have Jaypee itself as the main recruiter along with companies like Infosys, Accenture Asahi, Tata Power, etc which visit to recruit students. Students on an average get around 4.5 LPA. 70 percent got placed in our college. Jaypee Group provides internships to students with a stipend.

Satisfied with the academics but not satisfied with placements of the civil department.

Placements: Placements for civil are poor. No student got placed from our branch neither was any student placed from the previous batches. No doubt the placement of other streams are very good. Students of computer science, electronics and biotech branches are placed in good companies and with good annual packages.

Don't take admission in Jaypee University Of Information Technology (JUIT).

Placements: Placements are not that good and worth the money. 70-80% of the students who were eligible for placements (having CGPA) above 6.5 got placed in CSE. For other branches, placements are extremely low. Students go to other colleges for off-campus placements as our university is not able to get them placed. Only 2-3 students got placed with a package of over 7-8 lakhs. In previous years, Amazon recruited 1 student from our college with package above 20 lakhs but now they do not. They simply recruit ...

The real story of Jaypee University of Information and Technology.

Placements: There is no placement cell in the college. For placement, one has to go to JIIT, Noida where priority is given to Noida students, which decreases our chance of placement and some other companies also don't invite us for placement. One or two companies come to our college for placement.

College review of an amazing college in the heart of Himachal.

Placements: The placement of our senior batch i.e. 2012-2016 was much better than my batch (2013-2017) as many companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. which used to recruit students in large numbers in past years have considerably reduced their no. of selections this year due to automation. Despite this, approx 85% of CSE/IT and 70% of ECE students are placed in these corporate giant companies with few of them in companies with over 6 lakhs package. Highest salary - 7 lakhs. Lowest salary- 3.3 lakhs....

Placements: The placements for the college are average with over 80-90% students getting placed mainly in mass recruiters and 5-6 students getting placed in big MNCs like Amazon, Paytm, Zomato etc. The main mass recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and Accenture. The highest package given to a student was 27 lacs by Amazon and the average package goes something around 3-4 lacs. Good placements for my batch.

Placements: Placements are good you will get lots of chances and a great pool of companies to get placed if you have the talent. Almost all students got placed. The average salary is 3.5 lacs and the highest salary is 21 lacs. Roles offered are from analyst to system engineers. Internships are not that good so you will have to go out of campus to get internships.

Average private college with good placement record but bad industrial exposure.

Placements: The college placements are good with around 140-150% placements for overall batch and each student holding 1-2 job offers. For the 2013-2017 batch, all the students are placed. The highest package offered was by Amazon at 27 lacs and the average package goes around 3.5 lacs. Various companies including Infosys, EY, Wipro, Amazon, Zomato, Paytm and various startups visit the campus with overall around 60-70 companies visiting the campus per each session. Beautiful college but with average facilities and a bad placement record in the year 2017.

Placements: There have not been good placements for the batch 2013-2017 for the ECE course while for the CSE course, there have been average placements with around 80% people placed while for ECE, only 50% are placed up till now. For the senior batch, placements have been quite good with 100% placements. The highest package offered is 22 lacs by Amazon, the average package is around 4 lacs and the lowest package offered is 2.5 lacs for the civil course. Placements: There has been a good placement record from the past few years where each student at least has one job offer who sit for the placements. There was a good placement for the year 2012-2016 and for 2013-2017 batch, almost all students are placed with few left for whom companies are still coming. Placements: The placements stats of the college from the past few years have been very good with about 2+ job offers to every student. Placements: Placements were not so good but were better than the other colleges in the area. The average package was of 3 lakhs in civil. But for other branches like CS- it is the best place to get placements. The average package was of 3.25 lakhs and highest was of 23.5 lakhs. It is the best college for CS, IT, EC branches in terms of placements.

Jaypee University of Information Technology review.

Placements: Placements for a civil engineer are not going to be very good. There are several reasons for not getting good placements such as no dedicated training and placement cell, a lot of politics and a major chunk of students in Civil Engineering being of the NRI/Management quota. Opting for civil engineering should be a wise decision, else one will regret of not getting any job offer when one is a graduate.

Placements: In Jaypee, the placement percentage is quite good and it was up to 82% in our seniors (2012-2016) batch. This year(2017), it is about 80% till now and the companies are still coming. Again, your placement depends on various factors your technical knowledge, your academics performance(6 CGPA is good but if you have more then have more opportunities to get shortlisted in a number of companies), your attitude, and the last but most important, luck. Jaypee calls mass recruiter companies like Infosys...
