There is no direct admission at Kurukshetra University for any undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. However, Diploma polytechnic students can take direct admission in the second-year. Kurukshetra University admission process is a multi-step procedure, which includes filling out the application form, online choice filling & locking, release of merit list and fee payment. Below is the step-wise Kurukshetra University admission process: 

Step 1: In the first step, aspirants who meet the course-specific eligibility criteria are required to complete the application process. Aspirants can apply through the KUK officiak website. Candidates shall ensure that they submit their application within the due date.

Step 2: The candidates are further required to fill and lock choices in accordance with the admission schedule for Govt./ Govt. Aided/SFS Colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Aspirants can fill as much number of choices as desired.

Step 3: On the basis of the aspirants marks in an entrance exam, KUK releases merit list of selected students for the next round. Students who get their names on the admission list are then requested to visit the concerned college for reporting, uploading of documents and paying the admission fee to confirm their seats.

Yes, Kurukshetra University Online admissions are currently open for 2024 sessions for all diploma, UG, PG, and certification programs. However, eligibility to enroll in a degree course varies based on the selected course. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and apply on the official website.

Q:   I've scored less than 50% in 12th boards, can I get admission in KUK for BTech?

A: 

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a BTech at KUK require a candidate to have passed Class 12 with at least 45%. Hence, a candidate scoring more than 45% is eligible to apply for BTech admission at the university. However, scoring 45% in Class 12 does not guarantee admission to the KUK BTech programme. Admission to the programme is based on a cut-off list prepared by the Haryana State Technical Counseling Society (HSTES) based on JEE Main ranks, followed by a counselling process. In case a candidate fails to clear the cut-off required for admission to the regular BTech courses, they can check out colleges offering Online BTech courses.

Based on the former information provided by the UGC Chairman and NTA, the examination conducting body it is anticipated that CUET PG 2025 exam notification or schedule for the academic session 2025-2026 will be announced in the last week of September 2024.

Q:   What is the syllabus for CAT exam?

A: 
The syllabus of CAT exam is divided in 3 sections of 40 min each with Verbal Ability (VA) for 24 questions, Data interpretation and logical reasoning for 20 questions and Quantitative Aptitude for 22 questions. The syllabus is pretty easy and quants is only what's taught before 10th in Maths. VA includes 16 question for reading comprehension and 8 for Vocabulary.
