The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a BTech at KUK require a candidate to have passed Class 12 with at least 45%. Hence, a candidate scoring more than 45% is eligible to apply for BTech admission at the university. However, scoring 45% in Class 12 does not guarantee admission to the KUK BTech programme. Admission to the programme is based on a cut-off list prepared by the Haryana State Technical Counseling Society (HSTES) based on JEE Main ranks, followed by a counselling process. The syllabus of CAT exam is divided in 3 sections of 40 min each with Verbal Ability (VA) for 24 questions, Data interpretation and logical reasoning for 20 questions and Quantitative Aptitude for 22 questions. The syllabus is pretty easy and quants is only what's taught before 10th in Maths. VA includes 16 question for reading comprehension and 8 for Vocabulary.
