The schedule of CAT 2024 registration cum application was announced on July28, 2024 at the iimcat.ac.in website. The notification for CAT 2024 was released at the IIMCAT websites and all national newspapers. The last date to submit CAT application form 2024 was September 13, 2024 but was later extended to September 20, 2024.

The CAT application link will be activated at all 21 IIMs as well. Candidates must submit their CAT application form 2024 before the deadline. Candidates must note that the CAT application form is also the form for IIM MBA/PGDM programmes. The field to select IIMs will be mentioned in the CAT form 2024. Candidates are required to choose the IIMs they wish to apply for MBA Admission through CAT score. Candidates will be eligible for admission to only those IIMs that they shall have selected in the CAT application form.

Kurukshetra University MBA cutoff is based on CAT scores. The university offers MBA courses through two affiliated colleges namely, Asia Pacific Institute of Management and PIET. As per CAT cutoff 2023, the overall and sectional cutoff for Asia Pacific Institute of Management was 70 each, whereas for PIET it was 25 Percentile for the General category All India candidates. Kurukshetra University offers admission to its MBA course on entrance score basis. Candidates are selected based on CAT or common entrance test (CET). The step-by-step Kurukshetra University MBA admission procedure is explained below:

STEP 1: Online Registration & Form Filling

Eligible candidates can go to the university's official website to apply. The application form should be filled out carefully and submitted before the deadline.

STEP 2: KUK MBA Entrance Test

Candidates without a valid score of accepted national-level exam can take the MBA entrance test conducted by the university. The exam dates are published on the university website.

STEP 3: Release of Merit List

After the examination, the university publishes a merit list to indicate the names of the shortlisted candidates. The rank list includes candidate details such as the candidate's name, roll number, and marks.

STEP 4: GD & PI

The merit list candidates are further required to take part in the group discussion and personal interview round. 

STEP 5: Admission Confirmation

On the basis of the candidates' academic records, exam scores, and performance in GDPI, the final seat allotment is carried out. After the seat allotment, candidates have to pay the required amount of fees to confirm their seat.
