LPU Courses & Fees 2025: UG, PG, Doctorate, After 10th Courses

LPU NEST exam dates are announced. LPU NEST 2025 phase 1 exam will be conducted from January 20, 2025 to February 5, 2025. The examination is conducted for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The application form for LPU NEST will be available online. Candidates willing to join Lovely Professional University should keep a check on the dates of LPU NEST on the official website and submit the application form before the deadline. LPU NEST 2025 slot booking must be done 48 hours before the exam. 

Candidates could download their LPU NEST 2025 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card was available on the official website. The admit card was an mandatory document to be taken for the exam. If candidates choose to book their LPU NEST slot for 2025 on their own, their LPU NEST 2025 admit card will be generated immediately. However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2025 will be generated 48 hours after receiving the application form. Yes, LPU admission to BBA (International Business, Financial Markets, Blockchain, Business Analytics) and BBA (Hons) course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. For all other BBA specialisations, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, candidates need to complete Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate with English for BBA (Hons) and BBA Event Management, International Business, Financial Markets, Blockchain and Business Analytics. For all BBA specialisations, candidates need to complete Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English. After completing the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay a fee to confirm a seat in the university. The total fee for BBA and BBA (Hons) ranges between INR 4.80 Lacs and INR 7.20 lakh. The fee is calculate based on semester fee.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 to apply for BTech courses. Check below BTech eligibility for different specialisations:

• A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English or equivalent as compulsory subjects from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech CSE, ECE, EE, EEE, IT and BTech (Hons) CSE Data Science and Data Engineering, CSE-Cyber Security & Blockchain and CSE-Full Stack Software.
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology and English or equivalent as compulsory subjects from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for Food Technology, Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering.
• Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology and English or equivalent as compulsory subjects from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate can apply for Mechanical, Civil and Chemical Engineering.
• A pass in Class 10 and Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for LPU admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round. 

LPU offers more than 300 degree and Diploma courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels along with several distance learning courses via LPU Distance Education (LPUDE). LPU admission 2023 is a multi-step process, including application, selection rounds and result declaration. LPUNEST is the official entrance and scholarship exam conducted by the university. In addition to this, Lovely Professional University accepts several other national-level entrance exams like JEE Main Part 2,  NATA,  CAT,  MAT,  XAT, etc. for admission to its UG and PG courses.

LPU course work is mandatory for all the students admitted in PhD programme. The course work will have a minimum of 14 credits. All candidates admitted to the PhD. programme will be required to complete the course work prescribed by the university during the initial one or two semesters.

Yes, LPU accepts LPUNEST score for providing admission to MCA and MCA (Hons) course. Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test is conducted in online mode every year for admission to MCA and other LPU courses. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. The test includes 125 questions of a total of 500 marks. Additionally, candidates also need to complete graduation to get admission to MCA course.

Yes, Class 12 or equivalent examination are considered for eligibility fulfilment in the UG programmes of LPU. However, the selection criteria is entrance-based. Candidates have to take the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST), in order to get admission. The selection is not directly based on Class 12 scores. 

The exam fee for LPUNEST (soft copy of LPUNEST KIT) is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1,500 for boys and INR 1,000 for girls. Check below the steps to apply for LPU admission:

Step 2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

Lovely Professional University accepts LPUNEST/ LPUNEST/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT scores for admission to the MBA course. CAT 2023 registration window is now closed and the exam is schedule for Nov 26, 2023. CAT cutoff 2023 will be released soon after the CAT result. During the LPU CAT cutoff 2022, the overall CAT percentile was 70 for the General All India category candidates. LPU CAT percentile remain constant from the last three years. So, considering the past three years cutoff percentile, LPU CAT 2023 percentile is also expected to ranged between 70 to 75 for General category.
