    Q:   Can I get admission for B.Tech CSE in MDU, Rohtak, Haryana?

    A: 

    MDU Rohtak offers 3-4 year BTech programmes to students in various specialisations and one of the specialisations is CSE. The eligibility criteria for admission to BTech CSE is Class 12 with a minimum of 45%-60 % aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, HSTES, HSTES LEET, and others.

    Students can also download the JEE Main 2025 Mock Test and can see what sort of questions are asked in the eaxms and hence prepare beforehand for the next year exams.

    Q:   What is the selection process for B.Tech course and minimum JEE Main percentile required at MDU Rohtak?

    A: 

    Students applying for the BTech admissions must secure 45%-60% in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main,  HSTES, and others. Students are selected in this university based on their JEE Main Ranks. The JEE Main cut off changes every year and is dependent on various criteria such as the no. of students available, no. of seats filled, No of students applying for admissions, and other criteria.

    Q:   What is the fee for the MDU BTech Biotechnology course?

    A: 

     The fee is INR 2.80 lakh. It is inclusive of the components of a one-time admission fee and tuition fee for all four semesters. Further, it must be noted that this fee is as per the past years' record and hence can vary for this admission session. The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and INR 800 for girls (general/gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) category). For any query related to fee payment, candidates can reach out to the MDU admission office.

    Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak have average B.Tech placements. The University calls in many reputed companies like HCL, Adani, Free Launcer etc.

    WCTM - A great campus with supportive environment and convenient location.
    Placements: I am Shivnayan Kumar and I have taken admission in B.Tech (CSE) in 2024 in this amazing college, World College of Technology and Management (WCTM). As per the feedback from seniors, the average salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA to 15 LPA. This suggests good opportunities for students in terms of career prospects. WCTM has established connections with numerous reputable companies across various industries. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. Recruiters regularly visit this college for campus placement drives. These visits are organized by this college placement cell.
    Infrastructure: Hostel at WCTM offers comfortable living space with essential amenities such as beds, study, and wardrobes. Rooms are designed to cater to the needs of students. There are both single and shared accommodation options. The mess serves a variety of meals catering to different taste. The food is nutritious and hygienically prepared, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. College provides basic medical facilities on campus, and there is a tie-up with nearby available for emergencies. Campus is equipped with high-speed internet connectivity. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated with modern teaching.
    Faculty: At (WCTM) most students find teachers approachable and willing to help with doubts and assignments. Though some suggest that individual experiences may vary depending on the department. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified, holding advanced degrees like M.Tech and Ph.D. and some industry experience, which adds value to the teaching. Most students feel the classes are more theoretical and could include more interactive sessions or real-world case studies. Exams are considered moderate. If we attend classes regularly and revise our notes, we can score well. Questions are usually from the syllabus.
    Other: I chose (CSE) because it is one of the most exciting and dynamic fields, offering endless possibilities in technology, innovation, and problem-solving. It is the backbone of modern advancements, from AI to app development. It opens doors to a wide range of career paths like software development and data science. The best thing about my course is how versatile and future-focused it is. It equips us with coding skills algorithmic thinking and the ability to create solutions. Campus life at WCTM is lively with events, fests, and cultural activities that bring students together.

    It is the best college in Gurgaon.
    Placements: As a first-year student at World College of Technology and Management, my experience has been amazing so far. I have heard great things about the placement record here. For my course which is MAE, 97% of students were placed last year. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 16 LPA. College placement cell activity brings in top companies like Paytm, Zolo, VAV, Knowcross, Quollab, Maintec, K12, Kotak, Airtel, Optum, Enpass, and about more 300 companies. Many seniors have shared their positive experiences with the recruitment process. The focus is on skill development and internships.
    Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are well maintained, with clean rooms, sufficient amenities, and a safe environment. Wardens and staff are approachable and ensure discipline while also being supportive of students needs. The food served in the mess is decent, with a variety of dishes and a balanced menu. It is not home food but it is better than expected for hostel life. The common areas, like study rooms and recreation space, are great for bonding with batchmates and seniors, who are very helpful in guiding us through academics and campus life.
    Faculty: I am impressed by faculty members and curriculum. Professors are highly knowledgeable and approachable. They ensure that we understand the basics thoroughly, which is essential for building a strong foundation in engineering. They use interactive teaching methods and are always open to clarifying doubts. The curriculum is well structured with a balance between theory and practical sessions. It focuses on fundamentals while introducing us to modern engineering concepts and technologies. Regular assignments and projects keep us engaged and help in applying what we learn. Overall, it is a great start to our academic journey.
    Other: I chose Mechanical and Automation Engineering because of my passion for understanding machines and automation systems, which are the future of engineering. The course offers a unique combination of core mechanical concepts and advanced automation technologies, making it highly relevant in todays industry. The best aspects of MAE include hands on lab sessions, exposure to robotics, and learning about modern manufacturing processes. Curriculum ensures a balance between practical applications. However, I feel the course could improve by offering more industry-focused projects and earlier internship opportunities to enhance real-world experience.

    Absolutely dissatisfied because there are no placements.
    Placements: Any student who passed in 12th class, there are not any placements seen in this college. Top recruiting company is Huawei. There are not any specific rules but at least 60 percent marks required in the exams. Top role is that you have to make practical.
    Infrastructure: There are a couple of labs in college and one library. Wi-Fi is available in labs, and food is good but backward in sports. Classrooms are quite good, but no air conditioning is available in the classroom. Food is not so good; mess food is of low quality, and medical facilities are zero. Also, in sports, there are no games.
    Faculty: Teachers are very lower class, and they have not any knowledge about their subject. Yes, the course is so good, but there are a couple of things in that course that are not good. The semester exams are so difficult because the time gap is minimum in every semester, and passing marks are 33.
    Other: The college life is so good. Like the best thing about my course is that practical labs occur. I wish that please change their staff.

    An honest review about my college.
    Placements: Almost 20 to 25% of students got placed. In our college, the highest package was 8 Lacs per annum, the average package is 5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, and many other companies come for placement purposes. 40 to 45% of students got internships.
    Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc., are available on campus. They charge extra fees for a course, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). This course’s fees are 25,000. The hostel facility is not good as I expected. At the start, the hostel was good, but as the second year started, the management of the hostel became poor due to a large number of students taking admission, and it became hard for the warden to maintain.
    Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful. They help to gain knowledge about life and our subject with real-world examples. Some of the teachers are qualified, like Ph.D., but not all of them have completed their Ph.D. Some teachers are really good at teaching, but not all teachers. Overall, it's average.

    Good college for only study purposes. Placements are not good, but infrastructure is good.
    Placements: Most of the companies are arriving for management students, and they can also appoint B.Tech students for non-teaching jobs. Placements are not good for B.Tech CSE students, but for other branches, placements are very good. Very few students are doing internships.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, also providing free Wi-Fi in every class and lab. All classes have projectors for smart study. The library is in the basement of our college. Hostel food is very bad. The canteen is not good, but also not bad. They don't encourage students for sports.
    Faculty: All faculty members are highly educated. They are well prepared for their lectures. All the curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. University exams are difficult. More than 60% of students pass their exams, but they also have reappearances in their previous semesters.
    Other: In terms of study, our college is the best in Faridabad, except for YMCA and Manav Rachna. Every year, fests, freshers' parties, and farewells are organized.

    The college is located inside a village with school teachers.
    Placements: Can't depend on colleges for placements; they also do not promise placement. They only complete their courses. Also, their area is as small as a society park. In summers, it's disgusting because you'll not find clean water anywhere on campus, and forget about the toilets.
    Infrastructure: It's a small college, with only one building having 3 floors where they manage all the courses offered. Also, the washrooms are super dirty, and sports are not taken seriously. No student can leave before 3:30 pm from campus, as there is only a single canteen.
    Faculty: Teachers are not well-prepared for their subjects. Teachers change in the middle of the year without prior notice. They treat you like nursery students and frighten you by saying that they are going to call your home because you're not paying attention.
    Other: You could not travel to this college with public transport; only by college bus or personal vehicles. The nearest metro is 14 km away.
