Good placements for core branches like CS, EE, ECE, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.
Placements: The percentage of placements is branchwise. Top branches like CS, EE, ECE, CH, and MEC have a good placement percentage. But branches like BT and CE are not so good in placements. Top recruiters are Apple, Microsoft, IoCl, Aakash, and many more. Students can apply for internships in their 3rd year if they have skills to show so that they have some edge during college placements. If you go for core companies, then you have to mainly focus on your subjects to increase your CGPA, which is very important according to placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostels are not good, especially for 3rd and 4th year. In the first year and second year, we got new hostels, which are very big. But in 3rd and 4th year we got small hostel according to branchwise. But all the hostels are fully Wi-Fi, classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the library is also fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They provide ppts, which helps the students during the exam. All the professors are well educated and experienced. Even the semester exams are also based on the topics that were discussed in the class. And the marking is also very lenient.
Other: The crowd on campus is very low. If there are so many students in one classroom, then they divide the students into two sections. So that teachers can interact easily. I think bikes should also be allowed on campus for classes because the classes are far away from the hostel. But cycles are allowed on the campus.

This college is great in terms of everything, but you have to study on your own.
Placements: About 80% of the students are placed. But this number varies year after year. Talking about the highest package, this year it is 51 LPA, while the previous year it was 80 LPA. This year, about 8 students got the job in Apple-like companies. CSE, Electrical, and Mechanical are the top-performing branches of our college.
Infrastructure: Its infrastructure is great. With a lush green campus along with ponds and parks. For me, this campus is totally a kind of bhool bhulaiyya type, with a lot of roads connected to each other. But at every junction, you have security guards as well as maps so that you don’t get confused in between. My campus has some old buildings, and others are new. You will have classes in all of them. I am really impressed by the auditorium hall, its infrastructure is great from the inside. Other than this, the classes of NAB are totally well-equipped and decorated.
Faculty: Here the faculty is great, they have great knowledge about their subjects. Other than that, some of them have their image in the world’s top professionals. But in my opinion, you have to study on your own for a good score in your semesters. But yes, they may suggest you the resources, the books, and all other stuff so that you can access them directly from the library for free of cost.
Other: I chose the Chemical Engineering course because it is the best deserving branch on my rank. Other than this, during this AI generation, this branch has never-ending scope, so it is quite secure in comparison to other branches.

Review of NIT Durgapur - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 100 percent placements for students and the highest average package is around 15 to 20 LPA and the lowest average is around 5 to 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T and Trident etc. And the percent of students placed in our course is 100 percent.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good. In the second year, the hostel has 13 floors and a double B.Ed system, and the food is so good. The hostels are neat and hygienic. The hostel rules are strict, and the college has good infrastructure with good classrooms, labs, and a well-equipped library.
Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative, exams are moderate. Invigilators are strict, and teachers adapt new methods of teaching and advanced technologies to make the learning process easy and beneficial for students. The process of exams is lenient. The pass percent is 80.

NIT Durgapur is one of the good NITs.
Placements: The placements at NIT Durgapur are excellent and top-notch. The highest package is around 75 LPA and the average package is around 15 LPA. The lowest package was around 7 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Salesforce and Qualcomm, who visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are smart classrooms and there are two libraries on campus. The hostel rooms are shared for the first year, then separate rooms are given in the second year. Rooms are clean and the food is average.
Faculty: The faculty here is very supportive and friendly in nature. They always try to help the students whenever they are in trouble. There is no deadline pressure here. Also, the faculty is highly qualified in their respective fields. The exams are moderate-to-hard.

All the details of my college.
Placements: Companies like Reliance, HCL, Tata, TCS, Physics Wala, and Akash visit for placements. The highest package offered is 80 LPA, with an average of 6 LPA. 60% of students were placed. Internship opportunities include placements at IOCL, HPCL, and ONGC.
Infrastructure: The campus hosts 2-3 annual festivals. Various books are available in the library. Inter-NIT sports events are held annually. Several student-run social groups and clubs exist, such as dancing clubs. Each room has broadband access, and washrooms are cleaned daily. Hostel fees amount to INR 48,000 per year.
Faculty: I chose this course due to my passion for chemical engineering. The faculty are knowledgeable, though some might seem quite strict. Each faculty member holds double post-doctoral qualifications. Exams are three hours long and worth 60 marks each. Each student must complete a project under a supervisor's guidance and present it upon completion.
Other: The course offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Clearing JEE Main serves as an eligibility criterion. Reservation benefits are available for SC, ST, and OBC students.
