Placements: The highest package was almost 51 LPA in 2024, and the lowest was 8 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Apple, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, IBM, ICICI Bank. 70 percent of students got internships in various companies.

Placements: In my course, around 87% of students were placed last year with an average package of around 16 LPA, the highest was 51 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Apple, etc. 20 to 30 percent of students got internships. Every company offered the role of SDE 1.

The placement process typically begins in the seventh semester or in the month of July for final-year students, with companies conducting pre-placement talks as well as tests. In the year 2023, NIT DGP achieved an overall placement rate of 84.66% for B.Tech students. The highest package offered was 70 LPA and an average package of 13.62 LPA.

Placements: The placement scenario in the Chemical Engineering department is decent. In 2024, over 70% of students were placed. The average package was 7.2 LPA, with the lowest package at 4 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, Intel, and Microsoft.

Internships at INTDGP are valuable, with strong industry connections offering opportunities in top companies in it. Above 89% of students got placed. Placements: The placement percentage is a little less. It is not very difficult to get placements. Only a few companies visit the college. Internships are available, but placements are very less.

Placements: Placements are good only if students are from a top branch like Computer Science and Engineering. Many top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and even Apple offer a decent salary package, and students get placed. Many students from remaining departments face to get placed.

Placements: Placements this year have been pretty good so far, with huge companies like Apple and Microsoft visiting the campus and recruiting a good number of students. Apple has recruited 8 students from NIT Durgapur. The states of the placements haven’t been released yet, but for last year, the average package was around 11.5 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the highest was 51 LPA. For circuital branches (CSE, ECE, EE), the average always stayed above 16-17 LPA.

Placements: I am from the Mathematics and Computing branch. This branch is new at NIT Durgapur. It is also a part of Computer Science Engineering. Placements: About 75% of the students were placed in my course. For my course, the highest salary offered was INR 18 LPA, the lowest INR 4.5 LPA, and the average INR 9 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, BHEL, PWC, JSW, Adani, and HP. Additionally, 80% of students obtained internships at reputed companies like PWC, BHEL, SAIL, and Reliance.

Placements: Approximately 52% were placed in my branch according to last year's data. The highest package was 19 LPA, the lowest was 3–4 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA. Deloitte and Accenture were among the top recruiters. Up to now, from our batch, one student got an internship from Accenture, and from last year's batch, no one secured an internship. PCUs offer high packages.

The highest CTC is 18 lakhs, and the lowest CTC is between 2-4 lakhs. Roles offered include management, technical positions, and a few site engineers.
