NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: 83% of the highest package of electrical engineering is 18 LPA, the lowest package of electrical engineering is 3 LPA, and the average package of electrical engineering is 8 to 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TATA, SAMSUNG, BAJAJ, ALLEN Career Institute, FIT JEE, Infosys, TATA Motors, etc.

Placements: Last year, in the 2023 batch, 74% of students were placed, with a median package of 12.8 Lacs, a maximum package of 42 Lacs, and an average package of 13.74 Lacs. Morphie Labs, Juspay, and Bloomberg were the major companies offering placements, with the top role being an SDE at Bloomberg.

Placements: Placements are good in the B.Tech branches, especially in mechanical engineering. However, placements are average in the civil and materials science departments. There is a good coding culture, and various clubs and societies are available to choose from based on your interests. Last year, the highest package of electrical branch the student had was 2 CPA. The average package for the electrical department is 8 to 10 LPA, and the highest may be 27 to 30 LPA. Placements: The placements in NIT Hamirpur are decent, neither very good nor bad. The placements are better than other private colleges and since I am from mechanical, some of mechanical students got 1 crore package too ( off campus in 2022). Placements: Placement is not so good for civil engineering students; it is like average. But for CSE students, it is very good. For civil engineering, the average package is like 7 crore per annum. Our college provides not so many internship opportunities but this year it provides an ISRO internship.

Placements: The Engineering Physics course is newly introduced in my college, which is why I am disappointed with my expected placement. My batch is the 4th batch of EP in NIT Hamirpur. The first passout batch has an average package of 4 LPA, and 75% of students are placed.

Placements: The placement scenario of the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is good. Almost all students (90%) of a cutoff CGPA with an average CTC of 8 Lacs and a maximum CTC of 171 Lacs per annum. Companies like Accenture, BloomBerg, IBM, Oracle, Infosys, J.P. Placements: Placements are good. Almost 80–90% of students got good packages. Some of which are decent in some branches. The highest package is 50 LPA, the average is 12–14 LPA and the lowest one is 5-7 LPA. The top recruiters for our course are JSW, Tata Steel, etc., which offer quite a decent amount.

Placements: The placement of NIT Hamirpur is above average, as its average package lies around 13–20 LPA and the highest package is 1.4 crore. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Oracle, Wells Fargo and many more. 70 percent of students got internships from my course at the companies mentioned above.

Placements: B.Tech in Engineering Physics was started in 2020, and in 2024, the first batch is going to pass out. Students preferred to opt for higher studies instead of taking part in placements. Still, the highest package offered was 10.2 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA.

Placements: The average placements package for an electrical engineer is around 6 lac per annum. Last year, the placements hit 92%, and the average package for all the branches combined was 7-8 lacs. Every year, around 70% students get placed in companies. The placements are average.

Placements: There are a total of 123 students enrolled in the civil engineering course in the year 2023 and the highest package offered was 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Larsen and Toubro, Trident, etc. As far the minimum package and average are concerned there is no data for such for the year 2023-2024 since the placements are still going.

Placements: 85% of students were placed in my course. The highest package in my course was 36 LPA last year. And the lowest is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata Motors, Larsen and Toubro, Mahindra and Mahindra, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL), and Maruti Suzuki. The top roles offered are Product Engineer, Design Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer.

Placements: More than 95% of students were placed with an average package of 16 LPA in my branch, which is computer science and engineering, and more than 80% of students were placed with an average package of 9 LPA overall. The highest package was 1.73 crore, and the least package was 4 LPA.

Placements: In the mechanical branch, there are 125 students, consisting of 100 boys and 25 girls. This year, approximately 95% of students were placed, with the majority of them in reputed companies like Maruti, Tata, etc. Internships are necessary for third-year students to sit in placement shells. So all of them do internships—at least one!

Placements: Placement is average in NIT Hamirpur. Prior to yours, the highest package was 1.5 crore and the lowest was 7 crore. The top recruiting companies in NIT Hamirpur are Amazon, Google, Paytm, Oracle, Polygon, etc. Around 75% of students got internships in this course.
