NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: As a student of the civil department, the placement of the civil department in NIT Hamirpur is decent. Approximately 60-65 percent of students are placed in the civil department; the highest package in a teaching company is 16 LPA, while the highest package in a core company is 10 LPA. The lowest package offered by the core company is 3.5 LPA.

Placements: Almost 90% students got placed according to last year, and this year placement drive is going on. Except for the highest package and the lowest, the exact figures are not known, but the average package was about 10 LPA. Prominent recruiters were Reliance, Honda. About 50% students got internship opportunities.

Placements: To get eligible for the companies, you should not have any active backlog, so due to this, many get disqualified from the race of placements. Around 70 percent of students are placed. In Chemical, top recruiting companies are Reliance, JSW, etc. The average package is around 9 LPA, with the highest being 22 LPA and the lowest may be around 6-7.

Placements: I am in the mechanical branch, and my placement rate is 87 percent. The highest package offered is 35 lakh per annum, and the lowest known is 5 lakh. In my course, TVS and TCS companies are the top recruiters. In college, I don't know as much about internships and internship companies.

Placements: Around 70% of students have been placed, with the highest package being 18 LPA and the lowest at 4 LPA. Additionally, 10% of students secured internships. Various roles such as manager and engineer are being offered, and last year, many of our seniors also found placements. Personally, I recently secured a position at MKC Infrastructure and am looking forward to it.

Placements: Let me share about my batch. I will pass my B.Tech in 2027, so now I'm here as a first-year Mechanical student. As I know, the percentage success rate is approximately 80%. The average package goes up to INR 10-12 LPA and the highest package goes up to INR 1.51 CPA. Generally, all topmost companies come here, and you can sit in any branch placement interview. Also, internship opportunities are available here, and the stipend range is approximately 20k to 1 lakh.

Placements: Placements are really impressive. As of 2023, more than 36 companies have participated. Some of the top recruiters were CRED, Stryker Corporation, Philips, etc. Students have received the highest package of 52 LPA in mechanical engineering and an average package of 12.86 LPA. The placement percentage was around 85 percent.

Placements: Talking about the current year, the placement season is ongoing and more than 70 percent of the students have been placed till now. Last year, more than 85 percent of students were placed from mech engineering, the 2nd highest after Computer Science. Companies like Dell, Oracle, Tata, Mahindra, etc., visit here for the placement.

Placements: My course is a B.Tech. in mathematics and computing. This is a course about machine learning, AI, blockchain, and data science. You will get a 60% math and 40% computer syllabus. The top recruiting companies are Oracle, etc. The highest package is 36 LPA and the lowest package is 6.5 LPA.

Placements: The placements in the Computer Science and engineering department are awesome. Almost 96% of the students are always placed here. The average package goes around 12-14 LPA for CSE department. Almost every is placed except few ones, some also choose higher studies like M.Teach, MBA etc.

Placements: There are 126 students and around 80%of them are placed. The highest package was 35 lacs and the lowest 3.6 lacs. Top recruiters were Exl, Wipro, Maruti, etc. Around 30 students get the internship opportunity in these. Top roles were GET, Data Scientist, etc.

Placements: About 20% students got placed in my branch. The highest package was of 9 LPA and the lowest is of 5-6 LPA. Talking about top company visiting our campus is LnT I. e. Larsen and troubo. Only few student applied for internship about 20 students did their intern.

Placements: My batch will be passing out in 2025. The batch before was placed with an 80 percent placement rate, with the highest offer being 53 LPA and the average package around 10 LPA. The lowest package offered was 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the core domain included Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, EIL, etc.

Placements: Placements here at the college are average. There are fewer opportunities in the civil branch for placement, with around 60 percent of students getting placed. The average salary is around 9 LPA. Mainly, placements are in companies like L&T and various government organizations like NHAI. Internships are also average, and you have to actively seek them.

Placements: Most of the students get placed in IT companies. About core companies:Circuital branches like ECE and EE get very few chances for core placement due to the absence of good core companies coming to college or companies not being of very good quality (offering good placement). Civil and mechanical engineers easily get placement in their core companies. The average package for college is about 12.5 to 13.5 LPA, which fluctuates each year. About internship: Most of the students have to apply themsel...

Placements: Placements here is decent. Around 80 per cent of students get placement who have applied for that. The highest package was 65 lakh of previous year but for my course, it was 18 lakh. JSW is the top recruiting company for the material Science department.

Placements: Almost 100% of students in the CSE branch at NITH are placed every year. The lowest salary is about 6-8 LPA, the average is 16 LPA, and the highest is 1.5 crores (on campus). Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Bloomberg, Samsung, etc. About 15% of students got internships on campus for roles such as Data Scientist and SDE.

Placements: In terms of placements, the college is really good. You will see there are placements above 1 crore and also placements that are not as high but still offer a good LPA. So, if you are choosing this college just for placements, you can really rely on it; it will be worth it.

Placements: Placement is average. In CSE, the average package is 12 LPA, and the highest package went to a 1.5 crore international package. There are various internship opportunities available after the third year. Students need to maintain a minimum CGPA to sit for placements. The Cred company gave one of the maximum packages last year.

Placements: So basically, I'm an architecture student. I don't opt for placements, so I don't have much knowledge about them, but based on what I've heard from my friends pursuing B.Tech, it's not that great. Students don't secure excellent placements; it's just average, nothing remarkable.
