Placements: More than 85% of students from every branch get placed. The highest salary package offered is up to 1.2 crores, and the median salary package offered is 15 LPA-20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Texas, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, Tata Steel, etc. The number of internships offered from our batch is low but at the time of placement, it was high.

Placements: My college has a good placement record. The highest package offered to students in my course was 18 lakhs, and the lowest was 7 lakhs. Top recruiting companies are interested in this course. Over 70% of students in my course got internships.

Placements: Nearly 95% were placed last year from my course in my college, the highest package was around 80 Lacs, average package for my branch is around 13 Lacs which is a good package in this generation. Top recruiting companies are Barclays, Qualcomm, Texas, Analog electronics.

Placements: The placements for the Architecture department are actually less in the country. Still, the country holds decent placement records in the department. Most of the students get into firms after B.Arch. The highest package provided is around 12 LPA. The top role offered is as a designer.

Placements: About 90% of the students are placed who studied Electrical Engineering at NIT Rourkela. The remaining members mostly choose M.Tech or other alternatives rather than the job. The highest package is around 83 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package was 15.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, BPCL, and Wipro. Placements: Every year, 100 percent of students are placed in different sectors, the highest package being 52 LPA from Microsoft and the lowest being 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Auto, ITC, HPCL, BPCL, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, TVS, ICICI Bank, etc. Most of the roles are GET (Graduate Trainee Engineer) for the first year in the company.

Placements: In my course, there is less placement because they are not eligible for many companies. But in core, we got many placement options. But then also many of our students get placed, like 60-70 percent of students get placed. And the highest package in my course is 35 lacs.

Placements: But the placements in my college are really good. All students who get a CGPA of seven or above can sit for Amazon and Microsoft placements, and for Google, it is 8 CGPA, and they check your projects and works and everything. Placements: This college offers one of the best placements in India. The placements here are made easy with the help of the placement coordinator here. There is an online test (OT) then for which you will be shortlisted for an interview. The placements here have been very satisfactory. I have a friend who has received placement of 28LPA in the core section. Nothing to worry about that department as a decent CGPA will guarantee your placement here.

Placements: The campus holds great placement records. Various multinational companies like Amazon and Google have been visiting the campus for the past few years. The average package offered in the course is 10 LPA. Around 90 percent of students are placed, and the rest have gone for higher studies.

Placements: BTech in Ceramic Engineering offers 100% placements, which is the highest among all branches. The highest package offered was INR 33 LPA, the lowest was INR 6 LPA, and the average was INR 12 LPA. I don’t have much information about the top recruiting companies.

Placements: Electrical engineering placements were very good and have 100% placements. For the academic year 2023-2024, the highest package was 43.26 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and the average package is about 8.3 LPA. About 33% of students got internship and companies recruited from electrical engineering are Visa, BPCL, Bajaj Electricals, and Tata Steel. Placements: The placement in Rourkela is good; it's in the top 3 NITS. Talking about placement in my course i.e civil engineering, it is decent; the average placement for this course is around 9 LPA, which is very less if you compare it with cs but 9 LPA in civil engineering is a decent amount to be paid as a starting package; the highest package goes around 30 LPA, so if you study well, then you can have a decent package of around 12-13 LPA, which is pretty good in this course.

Placements: About 80% of civil department students were placed in 2024. The highest package was around 30 LPA, the average package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TATA STEEL, AMAZON, GAIL, APPLE, GAIL, etc. About 60% of civil undergraduates got internships at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Placements: Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, etc. and all service-based companies are our regular recruiters. Microsoft and Google have visited the campus and gave the highest package of 2500000. Tata Ceramics, Cera, and Vedanta recruit ceramic engineers. All of us are placed in my batch from Ceramic Engineering. Alumni is very strong for our NIT; this is more than 60-year-old college. I have no idea on startups from my batch.

Placements: Almost 100 percent of the people who sat for the placement got placed. The top recruiting companies were Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Qualcomm, etc. The average package is around 15 LPA, with 24 LPA for CSE students. Internships are based on luck; some people get on-campus internships, whereas those who do not will get off-campus internships just because of the college brand. The top roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, data scientist, etc.
