As far as the core field is concerned, mainly embedded systems-related jobs will be offered, but it also depends on the companies.

The top companies include Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs etc. Almost everyone got an internship. You get to learn a lot of things and take a lot of responsibilities if you are part of this college.

Placements: I'm in my 1st year now. As we have online classes now and I am in my first year, I can't perfectly say about placements. I came to know my seniors and other professors that there are very good placements with good salary packages. Students of CSE and ECE have good placement opportunities.

Placements: In our electronics and communication engineering course, more than 95% of the students who apply for placements get placed almost every year. Our department is very consistent with placements. Top recruiting companies include Samsung, Qualcomm, Texas Industries and many others.

Majority have got internship opportunities in fields ranging from research and core companies to non core sectors like finance, consultancy etc.

Placements: About 95 percent of students got recruited through campus placement. The average package of 6 LPA and maximum of 28 LPA were offered. CSE branch got more placements than any other branch. For our branch, Tata Steel came with high packages. Almost 80 percent students went interns with various companies.

Placements: Placement statics are quite moderate in DoRM NIT Trichy. Efforts put by the placement committee for students are appreciable. Our college always takes care of the interests of students with respect to domains. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 8 LPA.

They try to bring in the best companies and provide placement opportunities in the field of general management, banking, finance, human resource, business analytics, operations, etc. It is one of the best colleges for MBA if you are planning to work in IT-based companies with a techno-managerial academic background.
