As of 2024, the NIT Trichy placements have recorded over 1300 students who got successfully placed from various courses. The overall placement rate was 85%. Moroever, the annual report 2024, mentioned that MSc students were offered packages upto INR 27 LPA in 2024. The final reports are yet to be out, once released it will be updated here.
Earlier, in 2023, 1410 students, 809 from the UG courses and 610 from the PG courses got placed. The overall placement rate recorded was 97%. Additionally, as per the NIRF reports in 2023, the median package for BTech stood at INR 15.76 LPA. The median packages for MTech and MBA were INR 10 LPA and INR 8.70 LPA, respectively.
