NSOU is excellent for us.

Placements: Our college students mainly focus on off-campus jobs. The highest package offered was 4 LPA by Byjus BDE. On the other hand, the lowest placement package was 1 LPA for a trainee position. Some students also got internships in reputed companies like Paper Link Software, BYJUS, etc.

NSOU is better than other government universities.

Placements: The placement in college is good. Basically, the placement depends on the overall theme and educational structure. Our college has a good structure for all types of teaching and lab work. Last year, our college had a placement record of about 78%. This year, our college already has a well-planned placement drive. The highest package till now is 5 LPA in Byju's.

Good university for B.A. I am happy with my college.

Placements: Netaji Subhas Open University is a good university for B.A. Our college provides us with campus placement facility. We saw that some of our seniors got an internship. Students upload their resume to NSOU forum. The highest salary package is 5 to 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 to 3 LPA. Some students chose higher education.

NSOU is a good college for advanced diploma course.

Placements: The NSOU main campus offers good placements for diplomas. I joined here to get a certificate to enhance my CV. One of my seniors is currently employed by a paperlink software company on campus. I am currently doing an internship at PS Corporate Park. Thanks to my college teachers. Placement percentage is above 80% but most are off campus and informed in college groups by professors.

Overview of NSOU: Faculty, curriculum, and examinations.

Placements: Placements are not provided at open universities like NSOU. They primarily focus on distance education and providing flexible learning opportunities rather than traditional campus-based programs with placements. Students are usually encouraged to seek employment on their own after completing their studies.

Review of Netaji Subhas Open University.

Placements: The overall placement is not good. We have to find jobs ourselves on campus. But the maximum number of students at this university are job candidates. We take admission for higher studies. But if they provide placement, it will be good. So, we have to find jobs off campus. And it is not an engineering college, so there are no companies to provide placement.

Very good college for general courses.

Placements: The college does not directly allocate placements to students but organizes workshops at the national level. 35% of students were placed in our off-campus courses. About 40% of students got their internships through workshops and seminars organized by the college. If you are qualified enough, you can secure a regular job outside the campus.

Good college for distance learning.

Placements: In Bengal, postgraduates are not eligible for any placements. The college lacks dedicated placement teachers for our course. This course is a degree course, and you can pursue a Ph.D. Placements are more promising in job-oriented courses. Bengal is now an academic course, so you shouldn't blame the institute.

The course fee is affordable.

Placements: Total 45% students got placements in this college. College has an actively working placements cell which is not very active for our department. The average package offered in the college is between 2 to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies coming to our college are TCS, Infotech Solz, Media Smart, etc. Hopefully, our department will arrange a placements cell for us.

The history department was great at this institute.

Placements: Placement rates range from about 60 to 70 percent for students who receive job offers. The top recruiters as part of campus recruitment programs are schools, colleges, universities, media houses, publishing houses, and NGOs. Some students also join internships by applying outside.

Placements: About 60% of the students in my course got good placements. The highest post offered in this course is communication manager, and the minimum can be a private school teacher. Indian Oil and Sonalika have offered our classmates jobs. In the end, it is a great course to be a successful person.

Netaji Subhash Open University is a reputed institute.

Placements: Our college offers both postgraduate and undergraduate programs. There are mainly non-technical courses. So there is no direct recruitment through the institute. However, placement and career counseling committees provide continuous guidance and support that facilitates placement after course completion. Every year, around 67%–77% of students get placement after passing.
