Osmania University BTech is a four-year undergraduate degree course, divided into eight semesters. The primary eligibility criteria that students need to qualify to get a seat in the programme is candidates must complete Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering and Technology. Additionally, those candidates got also selected who completed the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent. Moreover, the applicant must be 16 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission.
