Absolutely satisfied with the college, nowadays the college is getting worse.
Placements: Above 8 CGPA students got placed in several companies. The lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum and the highest package 59.9 LPA. ServiceNow, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. In the 3rd year, students got internships. It was a nice experience on the campus with the faculty.
Infrastructure: It was a very good and pleasant experience. Students got placed in several companies. The lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum and the highest package 59.9 LPA. ServiceNow, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. In the 3rd year, students got internships. It was a nice experience on the campus with the faculty.
Faculty: The syllabus is very easy and learnable and worthwhile. Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The campus with the faculty. Microsoft. Here near the campus, IT companies are there. We can learn a lot on the campus. It is on the outskirts of the city, so it is peaceful.
Other: Sports and cultural activities are supported by the college faculty.

A Premier Hub for Technical Excellence and Holistic Development.
Placements: Nice one. CBIT sees ~85% placements in core courses. Packages range from 4 LPA (the lowest) to 43 LPA (the highest), with an average of 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, and Deloitte. ~70% secure internships at top firms like Amazon, and Accenture, offering development & analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The hostel is maintained very badly. The food is average. I like it very much, but there are 10 people per room, and all 100-110 members have a common bathroom, which is maintained very badly. The ambiance is okay. The playground is good, but the hostel is too strict.
Faculty: Excellent. CBIT's faculty is highly qualified and supportive, ensuring quality teaching with a focus on practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is industry-relevant, promoting employability. Semester exams are moderately challenging; the pass percentage is typically above 85%.

CBIT - Not completely happy with the college.
Placements: Up to 70% of students get placed every year. The highest package is 59.91 LPA this year, the lowest is 2-3 LPA and the average is 7-8 LPA. In my course, the average is more than 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Microsoft, JPMC and Amazon. Up to 90 percent of people get internships at some or big companies. The placements used to be very great in the earlier years but have shown a downturn in recent times due to the layoffs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the college is good. Labs are well-equipped with ACs, and classrooms are small but adjustable. There is a separate block for every department. But the college hostel is too old and very mediocre. People prefer private hostels over college hostels.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are really supportive and caring, while others are just so rude. But every faculty member has good knowledge of their subject. The curriculum is good but some subjects feel unnecessary for current trends. The semester exams go smoothly and the failure percentage is very low.
Other: The clubs in the college and the festival that happens every year are two really good things about this college. There are up to 40 clubs and many students are involved in various club activities and gain great communication and social skills. And one thing that the college has to improve is to make good roads and improve the washrooms. They are decent but they can be made better.

Satisfied but not so happy. Placements are not that good at present due to the recession.
Placements: Coming to the point of placements, they were pretty good. I have an idea about placements because we had interactions with our seniors during our freshers, and they gave us an idea about the outside market. In CSE, almost everyone got placed with at least a 3 LPA package, whereas the highest was 59.91 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, ServiceNow, Infosys, Tata, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, and Oracle. About 90% of students got placed in CSE, and 71% was the total placement percentage of all branches together. Internships were offered in the 3rd year itself, and some got PPOs from the same companies.
Infrastructure: According to my friends who stay in the hostel, they say that the private hostels in Kokapet are far better than the college hostel. The rooms are messy and not that hygienic. The food there is also average, not so good. We have only 1 Wi-Fi for a block, so it’s mostly busy with many people connected, making it a bit slow. Classrooms are almost like our intermediate ones. No high expectations. Labs for the CSE block are renovated, so they are good. The canteen food is good, but it’s a big college, so it’s heavily crowded during our lunch break.
Faculty: Yes, I have completed 3 semesters here, and I find that the teachers who are teaching us are pretty experienced and have good knowledge of the concepts. Our lecturers complete the syllabus based on the curriculum in time. They teach us the concepts; it’s our turn to make those concepts actionable and useful in real life. The pass percentage for semester subjects is 40%, and for labs, it is 50%. The semester exams are difficult, but mostly questions are from the syllabus, so they would be easy if we are well-prepared.
Other: I chose this course because CSE is blooming drastically now, and companies are recruiting in big numbers. Also, I am interested in coding and logical stuff. The campus is a spotlight during the fest. People from other colleges can also come and participate in exciting technical and non-technical events. Our college fest name is "SHRUTHI" and is conducted over 5 days. There is RTC connectivity to our college. A bus stop just in front of the college makes it easy for students. Surrounding our college, there are big buildings where software professionals mostly reside, like Rajapushpa and nearby flats.

Impressive placements with top companies, but salary packages vary widely.
Placements: In the 2023-24 placements for CSE students, 213 students were successfully placed in various top companies. The salary packages offered varied significantly, with the highest package reaching 59.9 Lakhs, offered by Atlassian, while the lowest package was 4 Lakhs, provided by companies like PeopleTech. The average package across all placements ranged between 5.0 Lakhs to 25.0 Lakhs, with prominent companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon offering competitive packages of 19.8 Lakhs, 19.7 Lakhs, 49.0 Lakhs, and 46.3 Lakhs, respectively. Many students received offers above the industry average, showcasing the strong demand for CSE graduates in top-tier organizations.
Infrastructure: During the first year, 7 students stayed in a room; in the next years, 4 students stayed in a room. I would say the food is average. The PG's are cheaper than college hostels; they cost around 6500 per month for a four-share room located in Kokapet, which is 2.5kms away from college, whereas college hostels are 1 km away, and there is no transport facility provided. Speaking about college infrastructure, the classrooms are very old with no proper facilities like fewer fans, washrooms which have no water supply, and old, dirty benches. The ground and sports facilities are OK.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and helpful, but most teachers teach in Telugu and teach as per the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, except for a few subjects introduced during the 1st year. The college semester exams are easy, and the paper is directly set from the material, and I did not find any creative, hard papers as well. The pass percentage in CSE is above 95.
