Patna women's college review : pros, cons and everything in between .
Placements: Placements have started last year, so the placement percentage is a bit low. The highest package is 8.5 lacs. The lowest package is 4.5 lacs. Top recruitment companies are Vedanta, Tata Steel, Byju's, etc. Since I'm a first-year student, I haven't applied for any internships but heard from seniors that the college provides decent internships.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi, labs, and wide classrooms and a library with all sorts of books—academic, non-academic, fictional, non-fiction—it's kind of amazing. Haven't opted for a hostel but heard from some of my friends that the wardens are kind of strict but the food is very good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly experienced with at least 25 years of teaching institute in not only our college but from other reputated colleges of India. The semester exams are not very tough, like if you have paid attention to the class and the teachers, they will not be very difficult to pass.
Other: Virasat is one of the fests of three days, which includes outsiders for 2 days. Day one is for the college students only. No outsiders are allowed. The second day we have some very interesting competition' and finally the third day we have a concert. We do have scholarships that are provided to the first-year students.

Patna women's college. Best from the comfort of your home.
Placements: The placement scenario according to the courses it provides is quite good. The college also has a placement cell, which helps the students get ready for the placement by interviewing them and grooming them in their particular domain. My course is botany and in this course placement is not that frequent but still it's decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of PWC is fantastic. Seriously, the facilities it provides, from lab to Wi-Fi to library, are top-notch and the best in Patna. The labs are well equipped with all the facilities. The library is digital also. PWC has a very good basketball ground for the sports enthusiasts as well.
Faculty: The faculties are well qualified and helpful as well . They help you to be the best version of yourself. Also, the college recently started a mentorship program to help the students out there. The curriculum is quite similar to any other college . Exams are conducted from time to time . End semester and midterm exams are compulsory to attend.
Other: Every year around November, college day, i.e., VIRASAT, is celebrated in our college, in which the Miss PWC contest is there for the final year students. This year the college is having its largest fest ever—a 3-day program including a concert night also.

A college with really good infrastructure.
Placements: The campus doesn't provide good placement opportunities for this course. The highest package offered in this course is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is offered at 3 LPA. 50 percent of students get internships at some renowned companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is sufficient and quite attractive; however, the facilities that are provided here at the college are impressive and amazing. The college also provides good medical facilities and organizes many sports events in which students take part.
Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are so helpful and qualified because they hold Ph.D. degrees in their respective subjects, and their teaching quality is also really good and easily understandable. However, the semester exams are easy to pass, and more than 80 percent of students easily get passed in the exams.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college placements.
Placements: In my course, only about 5% of students are placed. No companies visit my college; placements are managed by Patna University on its own campus. The top roles for graduates primarily lie in the research field. The highest package is 2.25 LPA, while the lowest is 1.25 LPA. Unfortunately, no students have secured internships in my course.
Infrastructure: The facilities in my college are decent. Wi-Fi is available in the library and some areas near the staff room and principal's office. The labs are good, but not all equipment is available. Classrooms are quite small, although the library is well-stocked with books. The hostel facilities are also good, with a lift in Mahima Chatravas. However, the quality of food in both the mess and canteen is average and often unhygienic. Medical facilities are satisfactory, and sports and games are held regularly.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in some instances, but not consistently. They are qualified but often reluctant to share their knowledge. While their teaching quality is good, there is a sense of laziness in explaining concepts to students. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not adequately prepare students for industry roles. The semester exams are challenging, and you need to study hard to pass, as the pass percentage is only 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in research. The best aspect of my course is that it allows me to gain a deeper understanding of human beings. However, I wish to see improvements in placement opportunities, which are currently very poor. Events and festivals are organized regularly, and the campus crowd is quite large. Connectivity to the campus is good, and the surrounding area is average. Scholarships are offered by the Bihar government, and extracurricular activities are organized from time to time.

The college is good but dissatisfied with college placements.
Placements: About 30% of only students are placed in my course. The placements are conducted by Patna University, and that is in campus placement. No companies are coming from outside in our course. Most roles offered in my course are teacher and researcher. The highest package of my course is 3.2 LPA and the lowest package is 1.85 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at this college are average. The classrooms are average, and Wi-Fi is only available in the offices and nearby canteens, and even then the speeds are very low. The library is a good place to study, and the hostel facilities are good with all kinds of safety equipment. The food quality in the mess is not so good, and the canteen does not maintain good hygiene. Sports and games are held from time to time.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good because the teachers provide practical knowledge. However, the course curriculum is not relevant and does not prepare students for industry. The semester exams are very tough because the exam center is located at another college.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go into research. The best thing about my course is that I get practical knowledge and we also do practical work. However, the syllabus needs to be improved, and more extracurricular activities should be offered. My college organizes many events, such as a college fest, freshers party, holi event, and dandiya nights. The campus is very crowded, but the connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are very good, especially at night. The Bihar government provides a scholarship for students, and my college offers many extracurricular activities, such as gaming and searching.

Good faculty is available.
Placements: Approximately 30 to 40 percent of students can get placement here in this course. The highest package offered in this course is 6 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is 2 lakhs per annum. Also, 40 to 50 percent of students get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our course is quite good and attractive; all the basic facilities are provided here to each and every student that they need. The college also organizes many sports events on campus where anyone can take part. The college also provides good medical facilities.
Faculty: Of course, all the teachers available in our faculty are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, because of which their teaching quality is really commendable. The semester exams are easy to pass by just studying before the exam, and more than 80 percent of students easily pass the exams.

Yes, you could get into IIT Patna after Class 12 through clearing JEE Advanced. The eligibility criterion is at least 75% marks-65% for SC/ST or in the top 20 percentile of your board. Admission is purely rank-based in JEE Advanced.
