Review of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
Placements: There are no placements for the civil engineering department, so you have to work hard on your own to get placed and learn new skills. In our course, none of the students got campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 5.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered can go up to 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: With respect to government institutions, it is good, and the location is also beautiful. There is a donated helicopter by the Indian army, which increases its beauty. The campus is old, but it is going under renovation, so soon, a new campus would be made. Hostels are neat and clean.
Faculty: Everyone is experienced and has a great interest in teaching, and students also learn a lot. The curriculum is great, and you can get official software to study. There are great projects and mentors to help. If you want to pursue a PhD, you can try this college.
Other: The crowd is amazing, and there are people from different parts of the country with great talent.

The college has provided good placements for the M.Tech batch in 2019.
Placements: In our batch, there were 22 students eligible for placements, out of which 16 students got placed. Around 7 students were offered the salary package of 10 LPA, and the rest of them were offered the salary package of 6.5 LPA. Placements are still in progress. Almost 11 out of 22 students from our senior batch were placed.
Infrastructure: Quality of classrooms in the new academic block is quite good, and they have modern facilities. However, the shortage of hostel rooms is a major hindrance. The campus has a dispensary and PEC market as well. Overall, every facility is available.
Faculty: The course curriculum has been updated recently for M.Tech. By the introduction of courses like AI, ML, IoT, recommender systems, the scope for improvement seems to be good within range. However, the shortage of faculty for specific courses is still a problem which needs some attention.

    Good placements every year.
Placements: Placements for M.E. Are good. The highest package for this year batch is 15 lacs and average package is 7-8 lacs. But for B.E. Students placements are quite high. The highest package is 34 lacs. Companies that visit our campus are Microsoft, Amazon, Nokia, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Hyundai, american Express, ZS associations and many more. Every B.E. Student get an internship in their 6th semester. Yes there is a training and placement cell through which they provide every information about company who is visiting the campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. Facilities like Wi-Fi, lab, classrooms, library, medical, sports games, gym every thing is there. There is proper mark we call it PEC market, there is everything to eat, there are two banks one is sbi and others is pnb. They don't provide hostels for M.E. And Ph.D. students. They have only 4 hostels that are very less as compared to no. Of students in campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All the teachers are very hard-working. They help students in every aspect. For M.E. Student to faculty ratuon is 24:1 off course the course curriculum is well defined and useful. Teachers are associated with very good projects, some projects are going with PGI, they encourage students to be part of there project. A very healthy environment is there between students and teachers and its the best this of this college.

PEC Chandigarh is the best college in Punjab, Himachal region.
Placements: There are plenty of opportunities, but a little extra for CSE department. You can always get TCS or Infosys companies to the campus. Some students even get 3-4 placements, depends upon your preparation. Some colleges are also a recruiter for teaching positions. In my class, all the students who want the placements got it. Some wanted to go for higher studies, so they did not appear for the placements. But for the departments other then CSE, the placements are a little difficult. The highest salary package offered by Amazon is 28 LPA, and the lowest by Infosys and TCS is 3.25 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good. The hostel facilities for boys are good. Girls hostel is little crowded. The Wi-Fi facility is great. All the classrooms have projectors. The labs are also good and have an ample space. The campus is vast, lush green, and it is inside the city. So, all the things are available nearby.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. Some of the teachers are talented, but it is getting degraded year by year. The curriculum is good, innovative, and relevant to the current trends. Exam system is good and transparent. CSE department has some good professors.
Other: They arrange a great fest every year. Many extracurricular activities are available on the campus.
