What is RMAT?
RMAT has now been scrapped and student are enrolled on the basis of the scores obtained in CMAT. Aspirants who have not appeared for CMAT are enrolled on the basis of merit in graduation. These candidates are further called in for the counselling rounds, and the final selection of the students is done thereafter.Â
Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test (RMAT) is a state level MBA entrance examination conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. The exam is a gateway to 2 year MBA programs that are offered by about 142 colleges affiliated to Rajasthan University.
Candidates must note that they can appear for the exam only if they belong to Rajasthan (candidates living in Indian states other than Rajasthan are not eligible for the exam).
The schedule for 2019 admission has not been announced yet.
Admission will be granted on the basis of the scores obtained in CMAT. Candidates can have a look at CMAT eligibility criteria.Â
RMAT eligibility:
Candidates applying for RMAT must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of the exam. Applications that do not comply by the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. RMAT eligibility criteria is as follows:
- The candidate should be a graduate and should have attained a minimum of 50% marks. These marks are 45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates. Also, graduation should have been done from a recognized university
- Final year students are also eligible for the exam. These students will have to submit a certificate for the college
- The candidate should be a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. Other than this, if any of the natural parents of the candidate is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan, he/she can apply for the exam
- If the candidate has been a regular student of a recognized educational institution for five consecutive years (inclusive of the year in which the qualifying examination has been passed), he/she is eligible for the exam
RMAT 2019 application forms can be filled in by visiting the official website. Applicants need to pay Rs 1000 as the application fee. Candidates must note that the application form must be filled in carefully and accurately. Failing to do so might lead to the rejection of application form.
Dates for RMAT 2019 application form and process have not been announced yet by the officials. However, going by the past trends, RMAT 2019 application process is expected to begin in the month of March. To register for the exam, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website, register for the exam and download the application form
- Next, fill in all the required data mentioned on the form. The candidate will have to fill in information like name, age, sec, DOB, qualification etc.
- Once the application form is filled, the candidates needs to make the fee payment – this can be done online (Debit/Credit Card) or through Demand Draft
- Next, the filled in application form needs to be sent to the following address:

Along with the application form, the candidate also needs to send the following documents:
- Exam mark sheets of class 10th and 12th
- Class 10th certificate
- Under graduate exam mark sheets
- Final year candidates needs to present their respective certificates
- Caste certificate (only if applicable)
- Self-addressed envelopes (two in number)
- Self-addressed postcards (two in number)
