RMAT has now been scrapped and student are enrolled on the basis of the scores obtained in CMAT. Aspirants who have not appeared for CMAT are enrolled on the basis of merit in graduation. These candidates are further called in for the counselling rounds, and the final selection of the students is done thereafter.
RMAT exam pattern was as follows:
- The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes
- The paper will consist of 200 objective type questions
- Candidates need to select only one correct answer from the options provided along with the question. If the candidate select more than one answer, the answer shall be considered invalid
- For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 mark
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers
- The exam will be conducted only in English language
- The exam paper will be divided into 5 sections: Reasoning and Aptitude, Data analysis & interpretation, Mathematical ability, English language, and General Awareness. The distribution of questions are as follows:
