Rayalaseema University Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (RUPGCET) is conducted by Rayalaseema University to provide admission to candidates in PG courses offered by it and its affiliated colleges. Rayalaseema University offers PG courses to students in the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Teaching. Given below are the courses offered under each stream along with their test name and code:

RUPGCET 2019 exam dates are not out yet. However, in 2018, the entrance exam for different courses was held from May 21 - 23. Check RUPGCET exam dates here. 

In order to meet RUPGCET 2019 eligibility criteria for admission in different MA courses offered at Rayalaseema University candidates should score at least 40% marks in their graduation. Apart from that candidates should also fulfill the criteria mentioned in the table below:

Any graduate with English in Part I or Part II for a minimum of 200 marks

BA with Economics with 400 marks

MA Telugu

Any graduate with Telugu in Part I or Part II or BA Oriental Learning in Telugu for a minimum of 200 marks

It may be noted that candidates who are appearing for their final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply for RUPGCET exam.  

Step 1: Fill RUPGCET Application Form

For RUPGCET 2019 registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to pay RUPGCET 2019 application fee in the online mode (debit card/ credit card/ net banking).

Step 2: Download RUPGCET Admit Card

After RUPGCET 2019 application form is successfully submitted, candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the exam and carry the same at the allotted test centre on the day of exam.

Step 3: Appear for RUPGCET Exam

Next, candidates need to give RUPGCET exam at the allotted exam centre. The question paper contains 100 objective questions of 100 marks. Candidates need to complete the exam in 1.5 hours duration.

Step 4: Check RUPGCET Result

Candidates can check RUPGCET 2019 result on the official website of the exam by entering their admit card number in the space provided. Candidates should score minimum 25 marks in order to pass the exam. However, for SC/ST candidates there are no minimum qualifying marks, informs the official website.

Step 5: Download Rank Card

All qualifying candidates can download their rank cards from the official website of the exam. After downloading, candidates need to take a printout of the rank card and retain it for the final round of counselling.

Step 6: Appear for RUPGCET Counselling Session

Finally, all qualifying candidates need to appear for the counselling session along with their rank card and all original documents prescribed by the varsity. In the counselling session, candidates are allotted seats in their respective courses on the basis of merit.
