RV University was formed quite recently in 2019. However, the sponsoring trust has had more than 80 years of experience in higher education. Those students who are seeking admission under Government quota are given admission based on counselling conducted by the Karnataka state government based on the performance of the student in KCET against the Government quota in this university.
