This private university in the state of Karnataka located in Bangalore boasts that its academic model or planning is based on a student centric learning experience. However, perhaps the fees for this university are a little on the higher side at rupees 15 Lacs for the course of MBA. RVCE also offers 4 years degree course in a variety of branches of engineering courses along with post graduation and MCA. But it seems that this college does not offer an MBA course. RV University was formed quite recently in 2019. However, the sponsoring trust has had more than 80 years of experience in higher education. It is spread over 50 acres of greenery near a metro station of Bangalore purple lion called Pattangere. The university offers more than 30 different courses at undergraduate level and more than 15 post graduation courses along with facilities to do doctoral research on many topics. All of these undergraduate and postgraduate courses are distributed amongst 9 different schools that the University has formed for better administration. Among the different courses offered, there are many courses which are interdisciplinary and staff from more than one school are required to teach in these courses. 

The college itself claims that its BTech in Computer Sciences and MA are flagship courses. However, from the perspective of a student this is of no relevance.
