Placements: The placements were pretty good. Since I belong to the civil department the only core company that came was L&T which recruited around 4 to 5 students. TCS and CUB are the major recruiters. A few students also got placed in firms like Musigma, Zoho and Amazon with high annual packages. The majority of students got placed at TCS. The computer science information technology and ECE students got offers from many companies when compared with other branches. SASTRA possesses a good placement cell and...
Placements: Our college has very good placements. Every student is given an opportunity and is placed in a very good company with a decent salary package. Latent View, PayPal, Mu Sigma, TCS, L&T, Semantic, Ninja Art, Amazon, Zoho, Microsoft, Fresh Works, Byju's are some popular companies which provide placements in our collage.
Placements: The placements were less compared to the last year. Still, the percentage was moderate. Three-fourth of the students were placed with an average salary of Rs. 3.5L - 7L per annum. The highest was 21 LPA offered by PayPal. There were many other companies like Microsoft, Musigma, Symantec, Informatics, Temenos, TCS, LatentView, FreshDesk, Fidelity, CISCO, Aspire Systems, Ashok Leyland, United Health Group, Newgen, Acurus, Amazon, Honeywell, Murugappa group, GE Appliances, CUB and so on. Various r...
Placements: The placement to our batch had more companies as compared to our senior batch but the CS/IT department enjoyed a lot. The rest of the departments in the college were more concerned about the core companies. Especially for ECE, the regular visitors TATA Elxsi and Robert Bosch didn't come this time. They usually hire 70+ students from ECE, so it was a quite sad moment. And almost all the companies visited this year including TCS have reduced the intake of the students. TCS hired 907 students (last...
Placements: Placements were incredible for my batch of 2011-15. Almost everyone, except people with arrears, got placed in one or other company. Roughly, the percentage would be around 95% in total - this is indeed pretty high. The highest salary offered was 16 lakhs per annum while the lowest went around 1.8 lakhs per annum. Lots of startups like Freshdesk and bigger companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Bosch and Schneider Electric attended the process. Roles offered were mostly software developers...
Placements: The college has good placements. Most of the seniors are placed with good packages. Most of the companies coming for recruitment are IT-based companies. TCS recruited around 700 graduates with a guaranteed contract for 2 years. There is an assurance of on-campus placement even for an average student.
Placements: Good core placement for students with CGPA>7.5 but mostly all get placed in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. but you will have to study hard to get placed in a core company. Nearly 85% students got placed and the remaining also got off-campus placements. There is good placement training given on the campus. The students get placed in TCS widely.
Placements: With a decent performance in CSE and good programming knowledge, you will definitely land a job with a CTC of 6 LPA and above. The highest paid CTC is by Paypal at 21 lakh. The campus has a good placement record with Zoho, Mu Sigma, TCS, IBM, and many decent companies.
Placements: Placements are decent when compared to other colleges. One should not worry about the job when one is in SASTRA. I myself am happy with 3 job offers right now. If you are a decent student, you are guaranteed a job. I can simply say it is equivalent to a private NIT.
Placements: The placements here are pretty good with good amount of companies visiting the campus. The placements for out seniors i.e. the last batch was good. There were about 80-90 percent of people placed. The highest package offered was about 27 LPA, the lowest was about 3 LPA and the average would be lying between around 4-5 LPA. The companies which visited the campus include Microsoft, TCS, Amazon, Zoho, Ford, Ashok Leyland, PayPal, Accenture and many more . There were internships offered by the compa...
Placements: Placements are good. Almost everyone, who was eligible for and sat through placement process, got placed. The salary ranges from 2.5 to 20 LPA. Amazon, PayPal, TCS, etc. visited for recruitment. Programmer roles were offered. Internships are least preferred among the student community as most of them were looking for full-time roles.
Placements: Whether you're an outstanding first bencher or an average middle bencher or a naughty back bencher with a huge history of backlogs you'll end up getting a job. The nature of job with which you'll end up here not only depends upon your academics but also on your interest towards other activities and opportunities that are provided at SASTRA. Regarding my department (EEE), 90% of the students will either get placed on campus or will pursue their higher studies in any prestigious university around ...
Placements: Placements for core bio is limited according to the CGPA you score. Placement training will be given for all the students to pass through all the phases of placements. Counselors are appointed for each student and they are responsible for that specific student to get placed in a company.
Placements: The placements are quite good and there is a maximum campus placement assurance for the students from SASTRA University. Maximum companies under the IT sector offer placements to our students. TCS, Amazon, PayPal and Bajaj are some of the companies which visit for good placements in our institution.
Placements: It has record placement of 100% for all the previous batches. The average package would be around 6 lacs per annum, while there are companies like PayPal which offer around 25 lacs per annum. Last year, around 192 companies recruited the students from all the branches.
Placements: Placements at SASTRA are like a boon. If one has some basic communication skills and basic programming skills, then he can attain a minimum package of 3 LPA. TCS is the major recruiter from SASTRA. Last year, they had hired almost 1500 students. This year, they have hired 908 students which is the highest among all the colleges/universities across India. In the first two months, students can see a lot of dream companies. List of some companies: PayPal, ABB, Informatica, Juspay, Mu Sigma, Symante...
Placements: Placements were good enough to get almost everyone placed in companies. However, the quality of placements was bad. Everyone had an opportunity to get placed in IT sector but not in their core domain. Placements rate was around 98%. Highest salary offered was 15 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. TCS hired most of the students while other service companies hired a good number of students. Core companies hired people in single digits.
Placements: Placements for my batch is pretty good actually. Sastra is known for their placements. TCS was the company in which most percentage of the students got placed. The salary offered by all companies are pretty good compared to universities of equal standards. The placement is made easy with the soft skill courses they provide.
Placements: Placements are the best part about SASTRA. You are provided with the opportunity to prove your worth and land in a job easily. I would suggest having not only a strong GPA but also a very good fundamental knowledge in your respective department subjects would make it easier.
Placements: Placements were good. The highest salary was around 10 LPA, the average salary would be around 3 LPA and the lowest would be 1.5 LPA. A majority of students got placed in TCS. There were also minimum 3 to 4 companies from all disciplines. Assistant System engineer trainee was the position mostly offered with developer options.
