Satisfied with the faculty. The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: The placements are good. Maximum all the companies visit our university for placements. It is a nice university for discipline and education. You will get to know about the placements in the fourth year. There is no ragging in the university. The university is necessary for students who need discipline and education.

In 2015, the placements were good on the campus.

Placements: In my batch, the placements were well and good. Most of the students got placed in TCS(1212), and some got placed in the core companies(their field of study or interests). The automobile industries such as Hyundai, Ford Motors, Ashok Leyland, and IT firms such as TCS, HCL, Infosys, Zoho, Microsoft and much more visited the campus for the recruitment of the students.

Infrastructure and faculty are to be improved, but placements are good.

Placements: Placements are the only advantage for the students to choose Sastra. The college provides 100% placements, only if the student clear all papers. The minimum package offered to the students was 3.25 LPA, and the highest package offered was 17 LPA (only for IT). No college provides internship in the third year.

Good placements and average learning experience.

Placements: The placements were pretty good, almost 100% students were placed. The package ranges from 20.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. The companies like TCS, Payal, Tata Elexi, IBM, RockWell, Bosch etc. visited for recruitment. The roles of software engineer, marketing executive, systems engineer, BPO etc. were offered. Internships were offered for a few students.

SASTRA University is very good for students who want to study.

Placements: The placements are good. There are good placements for every branch. The placements are more for computer-based branches. Companies like PayPal, Microsoft, etc. come first. Then later, Tata based companies like TCS come and take maximum people.

Only studying here will allow you to shine

Placements: Core companies which visited are Ford, TVS, Mahindra, TCS and 2 to 3 core companies with a maximum package of 15 lakhs. The base salary of core companies will be as low as 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. If you get good marks, you will be allowed to attend core interviews, otherwise, you will be allowed to sit for TCS.

Absolutely satisfied after joining this college in many aspects

Placements: Placements are very good here. Almost 90% will be placed every year. The highest salary offered for our seniors is 21 lakhs per annum by Paypal company. The least will be offered by companies like TCS, IBM, etc. They will offer you the salary of 3.3 lakhs per annum. All the roles are offered by companies here. The internship will be done by everyone almost in the college. The stipend depends on the students' work and the company where they are doing it.

Dissatisified with the institution rules and regulations.

Placements: The college provides 100% assured placements. The college has a tie-up with companies like TCS and SASTRA. The highest salary package is 10 Lakhs to 12 Lakhs per annum offered by PayPal, Microsoft, Apple etc. The average packages are given by companies like Infosys, IBM, Zoho etc., and the TCS gives the lowest salary package. So far these companies visited our campus the most.

Absolutely good in all regards and gives very beautiful memories to carry.

Placements: This college has a good placement cell and offers you a wide variety of jobs. The placement faculty is kind and brings most of the top companies down to the college for recruitment. TCS offers a special training for SASTRA students if placed with them.

Placements: The placements were less compared to the last year. Still, the percentage was moderate. Three-fourth of the students were placed with an average salary of Rs. 3.5L - 7L per annum. A college for a student who wishes to be a software developer in the future.

Placements: The placement to our batch had more companies as compared to our senior batch but the CS/IT department enjoyed a lot. The rest of the departments in the college were more concerned about the core companies. Especially for ECE, the regular visitors TATA Elxsi and Robert Bosch didn't come this time. They usually hire 70+ students from ECE, so it was a quite sad moment. And almost all the companies visited this year including TCS have reduced the intake of the students. TCS hired 907 students (last...

Placements: With a decent performance in CSE and good programming knowledge, you will definitely land a job with a CTC of 6 LPA and above. The highest paid CTC is by Paypal at 21 lakh. The campus has a good placement record with Zoho, Mu Sigma, TCS, IBM, and many decent companies.

SASTRA is good for the money spent and quality life and career is assured.

Placements: Placements are decent when compared to other colleges. One should not worry about the job when one is in SASTRA. I myself am happy with 3 job offers right now. If you are a decent student, you are guaranteed a job. I can simply say it is equivalent to a private NIT.

Best college for brainy people.

Placements: Placements for core bio is limited according to the CGPA you score. Placement training will be given for all the students to pass through all the phases of placements. Counselors are appointed for each student and they are responsible for that specific student to get placed in a company.

Good infrastructure and atmosphere.

Placements: Placements are the best part about SASTRA. You are provided with the opportunity to prove your worth and land in a job easily. I would suggest having not only a strong GPA but also a very good fundamental knowledge in your respective department subjects would make it easier.

Sastra University has all that is needed. To join or not to join, is absolutely your call.

Placements: SASTRA University is known for its placement opportunities and it is not hyped. A wide array of companies visits the campus for recruitment. From software to the banking sector, various companies recruit. Major job roles are that of Associate Software Engineers and GETs. However, there are a few companies that recruit for marketing and sales-oriented roles. The salary package is a factor that is purely dependent on the company policies. There have been some recruiters offering salaries as high a...

Placements: The HR team did an excellent job in bringing several companies for the on-campus placements. Year by year, we witnessed an increase in the number of IT companies that visited the university. However, the number of core companies that came were very few. A lot of students who aspired to be placed in their respective field of study were a little disappointed owing to the small number of core-related companies and also the competition that they faced. Good college and nice infrastructure. My batch placements were not good.

Placements: Placements are generally good with respect to getting into any company. If you want to get into core then many factors come into play. The placement numbers that took place this academic year were very less. But generally in our department, it is expected that 20-25% get into core on a whole.
