SIMATS Chennai admission process is based on both entrance test and merit list set by the university. To apply for UG courses, candidates must have atleast passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 50% aggregate. For admission to UG courses, candidates must appear NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA. 

Admission to MBBS, BTech, MBA, M.Tech courses is done on the basis of NEET-UG, TNEA, TANCET, GATE exams respectively.

Placements: Our college provides placement opportunities with a good salary package of above 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, Information System, etc. It provides internship opportunities after completion of an undergraduate course for a year including a stipend. The role offered in this course is to treat mentally disabled patients by collecting case histories, administering assessments, diagnosing, and providing relevant therapies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Facilities are good, neat, and clean. Wi-Fi facilities, libraries, and classrooms with good environment are available. Many canteens serve a variety of food items. Our college has a huge ground for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It gives theoretical and practical skills to make students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult. All the students pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in studying the human mind and its functions, cognitive process, and how it affects psychologically. The best thing about this course is students gain practical knowledge by involving with patients at the hospital. Events are organised regularly such as Pongal Fest, cultural activities, and ethnic day celebrations. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities are held in our college.
