The SNUSAT question paper is designed to evaluate the aptitude of candidates applying to the Shiv Nadar University. It is divided into four main sections- Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Abstract Reasoning, and Essay Writing.

The Verbal Reasoning section assesses a candidate's language proficiency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills. It includes questions on sentence completion, analogies, and critical reasoning.

The Quantitative Ability section evaluates a candidate's mathematical skills, problem-solving ability, and data interpretation skills. It includes questions on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.

The Abstract Reasoning section measures a candidate's ability to identify patterns and relationships between shapes and figures. It includes questions on series completion, matrix reasoning, and classification.

The Essay Writing section assesses a candidate's ability to express their thoughts and ideas in a clear and coherent manner. Candidates are given a topic and are expected to write an essay in 15 minutes.

The SNUSAT exam does not have any negative marking. This means that candidates can attempt all the questions without any fear of losing marks for incorrect or unattempted questions. The exam is designed to assess the candidate's knowledge and aptitude, and negative marking can be a deterrent for some students to attempt questions they are not sure about. This is why the SNUSAT exam does not have any negative marking and allows the candidates to attempt all the questions with confidence.

Shiv Nadar University accepts admission to courses based on four different routes for BMS and BSc Economics & Finance. These four routes include:

• Route 2: College Board SAT – Candidates can apply with a valid SAT score.

• Route 3: ACT Candidates can apply with a valid ACT Score

• Route 4: CUET + Screening Form + Class 12th Marks.

Candidates can get admissin to Shiv Nadar University based on any of the four routes. Those who are appearing for CUET will have to fill the screening form to apply for SNU admissions. Along with CUET scores, the varsity will take into account, Class 12 scores.

The SNUSAT exam is usually conducted in physical mode at Pearson VUE centres. This means that candidates are required to appear for the exam in designated test centres that are identified by Pearson Vue. However, in certain exceptional cases, online examinations are available for candidates who have medical reasons or significant logistical issues, or for students who are enrolled in boarding schools. This ensures that all students have an equal opportunity to take the SNUSAT exam, regardless of their circumstances or location.

The SNUSAT exam is an important assessment for candidates who are seeking admission to Shiv Nadar University. SNUSAT exam has a total of four sections. Out of all the sections, the exam consists of three sections with multiple-choice questions. However, one section of the exam is subjective in nature, and candidates are required to type an essay on the topic provided within a time limit of 15 minutes. It is important for candidates to prepare adequately for this section as it can significantly impact their overall score in the exam.

Shiv Nadar University offers admission into the following departments of the university:

• School of Engineering (SoE)
• School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SoHSS)
• School of Natural Sciences (SoNS)
• School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SoME)

The BTech courses are offered exclusively by the School of Engineering under Shiv Nadar University. B.Tech course admission requires the candidates to appear for both SNUSAT and APT. Applicants who are interested in other schools need not take the APT. However, those who wish to apply for any programme within the School of Engineering must take two subject tests in Physics and Maths, each lasting for 45 minutes.

SNUSAT exam is conducted with four sections. Each section has a time duration as mentioned below:

• Verbal Reasoning: 30 minutes

• Quantitative Ability: 36 minutes

• Abstract Reasoning: 40 minutes

• Essay: 15 minutes

Analysing the section wise time duration, the overall exam duration for SNUSAT is 121 minutes. Candidates need to answer all the questions in a section within the stipulated time frame.

The SNUSAT exam is divided into four sections, each with a specific time limit. Candidates have the freedom to choose which section they would like to begin with. However, it is important to note that once a candidate starts answering questions in a particular section, they cannot navigate to another section until they have submitted their responses for the current section.
