Placements: Job opportunity in college is very decent. Maximum of the passed out seniors are well placed in reputed companies. We have alumni in Google, Facebook, Oracle, Orange, TCS, Wipro. The average salary package offered last year was 4.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Off-campus placements is also very good. In 2017, one of our seniors got placed in Amazon for 27 LPA.
Placements: There are no placements for the architecture branch. You have to make your architectural design portfolio and then apply in various firms of your own choice. Most of the times, if the jurors get impressed with your portfolios, they will you as interns. Well-reputed people in the architecture sector of India are called for design juries. Many students are hired in various workshops organised by the college. The workshops like Bamboo workshop organised by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, g...
Placements: About 90% of the students in our senior batch (2016-18) got placed. Rest of the students wanted to become entrepreneurs and handle their own business, that is why they didn't apply for placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest was of 4 LPA. The highest stipend offered for the students of our batch during the internship in Oyo Rooms was approximately Rs. 15,000 per month. There is a training and placement cell in our college, and the name of the training and placeme...
Placements: Placements in our college are good as Tata Consultancy, and other big companies come for placements. Many students got a minimum package of Rs. 30,000 per month while many students have achieved good posts at the starting of their career itself. SMVDU-TBIC allows you to focus on entrepreneurship which inspires students to do creative and innovative works in their field than earning money.
Placements: The students here in this university were placed under the criteria of having an minimum CGPA of 7. Companies including tech mahindra, wipro, tcs & several more come here for hiring, as well as the students are offering being csac, ssac, sports secretary anf many more so that one of the student members decide some decisions regrading studies or university which are further taken to the vice chancellor of the university and not even that mess incharges, hostel inchrge are also there, the highest ...
Placements: I got placement in Maruti Suzuki. They are giving me 3.4 LPA. Every student got placement in my college. Every student feels proud. They give full support to get the placement in Maruti Suzuki. My friends also got good companies from my college. Every faculty help to get a job in the best companies.
Placements: Mostly 80% of the students got placed in the placements, and in our senior batch, there were 70% placements. The highest package was of ICICI Bank that includes 4.25 LPA, and the least was of HDFC Bank LTD that include 2.12 LPA. 100 % of the students have got the internship, and out of which, 40% of the students got the stipend.
Placements: The placements provided were decent. In my class of 90 students, 8/10 girls and 55/80 boys were placed. Other unplaced students had some flaws in their 10th and 12th marks criteria, dob, etc. The companies that visited were Orange, TCS and L&T. The package offered was around Rs. 3.2 LPA to Rs. 4 LPA. The package has increased for 2017 batch. I got the internship from my initiative at IIT-Kanpur. Many students had to work for their internship. The college provided the opportunity, but they were ...
Placements: The college campus placement is neither too bad nor good. A few IT giants like TCS and Wipro visit the campus and recruit the students. SMVDU is also a placement hub for Jammu and Kashmir's colleges. Other companies like Orange and TechAspect visit the campus for the placement. But, if you were not placed on the campus, then you can get a job easily as the quality of the education is good. Many students have secured good ranks in PSU and GATE.
Placements: In my college, we have the same legacy that more than 90% of the students are placed every year for ECE stream. The average salary offered is 3.25 LPA. TCS, Wipro, L&T Infotech, HCL and other companies visit my college campus every year. Assistant system engineer, project engineer are roles provided by these companies. 95% of the students got the internship from the college.
Placements: If you are interested in pursuing higher education in the field of biotechnology or life sciences, then you should join the B.Tech/M.SC Biotechnology course offered by SMVDU. It provides enough facility and opportunity in the said field. Although, the campus placement of biotechnology department is not that good. However, other departments of the campus provide placements in the leading and emerging companies like Wipro, Samsung electronics, WaterHealth ltd., and many more.
Placements: Architecture, unlike other streams, does not have a placement scheme. The students make their design portfolios which they send to different design firms all over the world and according to their designing skills, they're given jobs. Other than that, since students wanted a special placement cell for architecture also, it is being made in which companies like Autodesk may come and hire students to teach software, etc. for people who want money more than they want to design.
Placements: The placement is good but the package is not very good. It's around 4.5 lacs per annum. Although, the highest package is around 14 lacs per annum. Moreover, recently it has been updated, so the average package might go up to about 7.5 lacs per annum. The off-campus placement is fantastic. Our alumni in MIT are in Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, etc.
Placements: Excellent. Placement depends on the portfolio. It depends on the work of students and designing they do during their semester. On that basis, their portfolio is built. Presently, students from architecture are doing their internships abroad and also in good architecture firms of India.
Placements: The placements were around 85-90%. The major recruiters were TCS, L&T Infotech and Orange. The packages offered were reasonable and decent. The offer letters were received on time and joining was done hassle-free. The placement procedures were well-explained to the students by the placement department.
Placements: Placement is good. But mostly IT companies like TCS, WIPRO and L&T visit the campus. In a nutshell, there are very few opportunities for core branches. Computer science students have a good opportunity for getting a good package as the tech aspect used to give more than 5 lakh per annum. .
Placements: Placements here are not very of high standards. Few IT company visit our college every year. Almost all students who are eligible get job offers, but only from IT companies. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 3 - 4.5 LPA. Mainly students who got placed earlier are offered designation of software developer. No relevant efforts are made by T&P office in regard of internships. Student themselves arrange their internships and stipend depends on the type of internship.
Placements: The placement is very good as most of our seniors got placed. The highest salary offered is 5 lacs, the lowest is 3 lacs and the average salary is 3.5-4 lacs. The main recruiters are Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Tech Aspect, L&T, Orange. Indian army, Indian air force and Indian navy also came into the campus. During the placements, the juniors are also allowed to see what happens in the placements as they are the members of training and placement team as well. Most of the students pref...
Placements: I completed BTech from SMVDU in 2015 and 70% students were placed in 2015, but in 2016, 90% students got placed. In both the years, the companies offered a maximum of 3.5 lacs. I got an internship from SVNIT in 2014 and two other friends also got it from SVNIT. My friends Apoorva and Prayag got the internship from IIT.
This college has beautiful infrastructure & modern laboratories. The faculty is helpful at every stage and is available for the students. Since, it is located in the remote location nearby Katra, therefore one might feel isolated sometimes but it provides a different learning experience. This college is better than any NIIT.
