I am dissatisfied because of the placements provided by the college.
Placements: The career service has given so much to our students. They are constantly updating their systems and emailing constant updates about the potential activities and opportunities that are coming and are available. If there is no career service, I would not be completing my first internship, and I would not be partaking in the ACE award, which has given me valuable skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Each part of the university is cleaned regularly. The number of opportunities that are available due to the accessibility increases students' chances of attending and feeling welcome at all times. The library staff are always cleaning the desks and computers and are always facilitating the needs of students. The food area is hygienic and cleaned regularly. It has allowed for diversity within the university by providing vegetarian and halal meals. I am satisfied to be a part of this university. The dedication and hard work I put into my two years have allowed me to succeed in many ways and increase my self-development skills. The university is a great place to study, and I suggest this college to everyone.
Other: Overall, the campus is good.

A very nice campus with faculty members, infrastructure, knowledgeable, placement & study.
Placements: My batch got 90% placements, out of that 30% were placed in more than a company. My senior batch's the highest package was 9.4l/pa. My batch the highest package was 5.25, which was offered to me by Vedanta resources. The average salary of my batch was 3.6 to 5.25 l/pa.
Infrastructure: My campus was in huge area consist of open & constructed area. A central building of 3 floors, each floor consist of 24 big classroom & Wi-Fi lab. Apart from this, four stream wise building for civil, electrical, textile, mechanical & one building for first year student & MBA a student were separate. One central library of 5000+books collection of different subjects.
Faculty: Faculty members were? 100 % PG qualified & having minimum 5 year experienced. Different subjects or topics are covered by different faculty members using different teaching methods like using projector, labs, computer, instruments, field related so on ground. We also had industrial visit for learning & practical knowledge by institute.
Other: We were provided scholarships on different criteria. Technical & non-technical events were organised monthly or quarterly basis. Sports & annual function were organised yearly. Other than this we had lots of interesting college or university competition & our students got prizes also.

A good place for those who are more interested in studies rather than extracurriculars.
Placements: I am currently working in TCS. In my batch, the placement was around 70% and the same for the senior batch. The placements are good, but there is a lack of core companies in placement. It also participates in lots of pool campus which gives you a better opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, the college is decent. It has sports complex which has games such as badminton, table tennis, chess, etc. There are plenty of labs equipped with very good instruments. Food in the canteen is decent, and you have enough for breakfast and snacks.
Faculty: At that time, they followed the curriculum defined by RGPV. So, the curriculum was very good and helpful. Teachers were good and qualified for the maximum of subjects. Teacher to students ratio was decent, and you will always have a class. They always had a backup teacher.
Other: There are two events in a year, one is annual sports, and the other is annual fest that is known as Spandan. So, both of them are good and fun.

You will develop your own skills with study.
Placements: At my college, you will have a good opportunity to get placed into various companies compared to other colleges in this region. Apart from this, the college provides internship opportunity, especially for 6th-semester, 7th-semester and 8th-semester students. If you are looking for a special college which provides internship opportunities for 1st, 2nd-year students, then it is not possible here. College also conducts various workshops time to time for development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Neither good nor bad. This college is established in the decade of 1990. So you will face a little problem here. Parking and bus facilities are good. Due to lots of new admissions this year, we are facing crowd problem on the bus. You will find a big playground providing facilities to play games like badminton, basketball, volleyball, cricket etc. Seating arrangements are not in good condition, but they are changing now.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful. They always teach what is essential for us rather than current syllabus or units. My teachers provide extra time for the students to solve any problem. The HOD is also helpful as compared to other colleges in which my other friends are studying.

SVITS Indore is not a good choice.
Placements: At the college website, they will show more than 30 companies but in reality, the only company which arrived for the placement is TCS. One software company came for all the branches for 2 courses BE and ME. For about 1000 students. There were no core companies for EI, EX, EC, TX, civil and mechanical. The ratio in which students are selected by TCS is like 60% from CS and IT, and 40 % from EI, EC, EX, TX, civil mechanical and automobile. The number of students getting placed is decreasing year by year. The package TCS offers is of 3.15 lakhs for BE and 3.65 lakhs for ME students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is sufficient but not huge as compared to other engineering colleges. The labs are well developed but the fact is that practicals are not done correctly in the manner they are meant to. There is no such sports ground provided. There is only a small sports complex. The hygiene rating is like 3 out of 10.
Faculty: From 1st year to the 4th year, not in a single year, the course is completed the way it should be. It is just like a formality and no extra efforts are taken. There are some subjects for which the study material is not even available on the net. No fruitful help is given by faculty members. In the name of notes, they provide irrelevant PPTs from the net on that topic. From 10 slides of the PPT, how you can give RGPV theory exam. The sessionals which played an important role in the exam for a student are given to SVITS students on an unknown analysis. Still, no one can analyse why they get a poor sessional and good. The reason given by faculty members for poor sessional are low attendance and low MST marks. But the fact that having 75 % attendance and 15 out of 20 marks, the students get B or B+. But on the unknown analysis of faculty members, some get A and A+. Still, I don't know the fact what problem SVITS faculty members have in giving valid sessionals. A few faculty members just take the lecture for 10 to 15 minutes out of 50 minutes, drawing a diagram on the board and then leaving the class. For faculty members and course curriculum, SVITS gets only 1.5 out of 10.
Other: This is the worst college and the faculty members take revenge for personal issues. No good placements are there, and no study material is provided. Only a few books are available in the library. There is no facility and no concern for the students. It is just a money making business, not a centre for providing education. They are just playing with the students' future.
