Inside Look: A comprehensive review of Sister Nivedita University
Placements: I'm studying yet, my graduation hasn't been completed yet, so I don't have that much experience about the placement. But I have some knowledge about it. I have heard that a candidate must have a minimum CGPA of 6 per semester to sit in on the placement process. Many reputed companies are visiting our college for placement, like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is just awesome. It is well structured. The labs, classrooms, and libraries are well decorated. The Wi-Fi is always available, and it is free also. The food of our canteen and hostel is too healthy and hygienic. The hostel rooms are so clean and very cozy.
Faculty: Our faculty members are too good to us. They are so supportive and helpful. They are also friendly with us. They scarcely sold us. They are always involved with competitive things like coding competitions, coding workshops, quiz competitions, etc. The exam is held in our college in two times. One is midsem, which is held in the middle of the semester, and another one is end sem, which is held in the last period of the semester. Minimum 30-35% is the pass percentage of our college exam.
Other: I have chosen this course because nowadays, artificial intelligence is the most powerful thing in this materialistic world, so its craze can never be faded. That's why I want to make my future from this background. Our campus is so marvelous, and on our campus a lot of festivals and functions are held every winter. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that exist in our college, like basketball, NCC, dancing, and singing. Besides these, the scholarship is also available in our college.

Life in Sister Nivedita University
Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 32 Lacs, and the lowest package is 2 Lacs, which was offered in my course. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Godrej, etc. are the top recruiting companies for my course. 58% of students got internships in TCS from my course.
Infrastructure: My college has labs, libraries, a gym, canteen, hostel, etc. The infrastructure of the college is very fantastic. The interior of the college feels like a palace. They have a hostel, and it feels like home. The food at the canteen is also very yummy. They have a bus to travel from the hostel to college and vice-versa.
Faculty: The faculty members are very experienced and have strong academics. They treat us like their own children. They help us make any difficult decisions. Their teaching skills are also excellent. The teachers teach the complex topics very easily. They also encourage us to participate in every competition.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding. I also want to work in the corporate world. The labs can be improved by replacing modern computers and other instruments. There are many events, campus crowds like GFG, Skepsis, etc.

Average college and college life.
Placements: Placements at Sister Nivedita University (SNU) have been growing steadily, with a range of companies visiting the campus, especially for teaching and management roles. Students in fields like Computer Science and Engineering often have better placement opportunities, with offers from reputed IT companies and startups. However, the average salary packages are moderate, and while some students secure higher-paying roles, others feel that the university placement support could be enhanced to attract more top-tier companies and diversify the job roles offered. The placement cell is supportive but could work more on improving industry connections and preparing students for competitive interview processes.
Infrastructure: SNU offers a wide array of courses, especially in engineering, management, and the sciences. The curriculum is updated regularly to include current trends, particularly in technology-related fields. However, students sometimes feel that the courses could be more practical and industry-oriented, as they currently emphasize theory over hands-on learning. Faculty members are knowledgeable, but students would benefit from more workshops, labs, and real-world project opportunities. Overall, while the university’s academic offerings are solid, some improvements could be made to enhance the student experience.
Faculty: I liked the faculty at Sister Nivedita University. They were well-qualified and approachable, and willing to help students with doubts and extra guidance. However, some students feel that teaching methods could be more engaging and aligned with industry practices. The curriculum is fairly up-to-date, particularly for technical and professional courses, incorporating relevant topics and skills. However, more focus on practical, real-world applications and hands-on projects could enhance the learning experience. The exam structure is straightforward, with a focus on theory. While exams are fair, students sometimes feel they assess wrote learning over practical understanding. Adding project-based or open-ended assessment could improve skill development and practical knowledge.
Other: I like the food at the fest at Sister Nivedita University. It provides a decent selection of dishes, offering a mix of Indian and continental options. The food is generally fresh and hygienic, catering to different tastes. However, students feel that more variety would improve the experience. Special occasions bring a wider range of options, which is appreciated, but daily meals could be more diverse to avoid repetition. Overall, while the fest is satisfactory, with good quality and cleanliness, adding more frequent menu changes and options for customization would make it more enjoyable for students.

Good infrastructure with average placement.
Placements: Solely depends on your hard work. Packages about 8 LPA and above were secured mostly off campus. Official placement records are not shared. Many of our seniors got into Amazon, Microsoft, etc. through off campus. On-campus recruitments do occur but mostly service-based.
Infrastructure: The location is awesome, just beside Biswa Bangla Gate. The college campus is pretty small. Does not have a proper ground. Wi-Fi is available in some limited areas. The library is quite big. Does not have its own hostels inside the campus. Labs have AC, but classrooms don't.
Faculty: Like everywhere else, some professors are very helpful, and their way of teaching is also awesome. Exams are conducted by SNU as it's a university in itself. The curriculum in CSBS is comparatively vast as compared to Standard CSE. You will have 1-2 more subjects.

Review of Sister Nivedita University.
Placements: The criteria for eligibility for placements is an 8.5 GPA. A few recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. The highest salary package offered as per the company profiles is around 8 LPA - 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 90% of students get placements. After my degree, I plan to achieve the highest milestones and get a better life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is highly appreciated and very good. There are labs with an average of 25-30 computers and Wi-Fi. Our college is air-conditioned. It has a library with different types of books and journals. There are amenities in classrooms. We have football and cricket teams. There are many clubs like GDSC, GFG, Newton's School, Coding Ninja, etc. Our hostels are very good and comfortable to live in. The food quality and the menu are also good like home-cooked.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful. Campus life is very good.
Other: Our college is good on every basis. I got my admission here because it's a good institution for learning. I gave an interview for admission purposes. There are good fests conducted by our college. Students should score at least 60% on their 12 boards to join this college. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted by our college like cricket, football, etc.

Review of Sister Nivedita University.
Placements: Students are not offered any internships, as no companies are associated with the psychology department. While students can pursue internships independently, the university does not provide assistance. Internships are not mandatory at the bachelor's level; however, research is compulsory.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are pretty average. There are two practical labs, with one equipped with AC. The classes are frequently moved from one room to another. The hostel rooms are neat and liveable. However, the food is terrible. Hostel rules are strict but acceptable. The social life is somewhat toxic.
Faculty: The professors are qualified and teach pretty well. They are very helpful and supportive. The curriculum and knowledge imparted are very useful for future careers. The scoring system is also good. The semester exams are moderately difficult. Studying diligently can earn you good marks.
