The fee for the course is INR 2.36 Lacs as per the first-semester fees. Additionally, hostel fees is INR 1.23 Lacs and students also have to pay one-time fees of INR 20,000. Candidates seeking admission to the MPlan course shall have a valid score in either of the accepted entrance exams - GATE or CEED. In addition, aspirants must have secured a good score as the seats are limited in the course. Candidates with good scores get an edge and are given preference.

Candidates with a valid BPlan/BArch/or any other bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or organisation are eligible. In addition, the candidate should have studied the relevant subjects in the degree course as well. The aspirant shall have the pass certificates with them at the time of MPlan course admission as well for verification purposes.

SPA Delhi was ranked in the fourth position by NIRF in the Architecture category. Hence, it tops many of the NITs except for NIT Calicut. The aspirants must fill out the SPA Delhi application form to be eligible for admission. Further, candidates who are applying for BArch and BPlan courses will be allotted seats basis their performance in JEE Main. For PG course admissions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC). Admission to all the popular courses such as BArch and MArch is through national-level exams such as GATE/CEED/CEED/JEE Main (Paper-II). However, for the PhD course, admission is merit-based. Candidates' academic records and eligibility criteria fulfilment are the criteria for selection.
