A great place to learn if one is really interested in design.

Placements: The college organises placements from renowned multinational companies such as Atkins, Morphogenesis, etc. Only a bunch of students make it through roughly around 8-10%. Others have to look for other options by themselves. Last year the salary offered by these MNCs ranged between rupees 25000-30000 per month for the positions of assistant architects and design manager. So the starting salary is not very high. As far as internship is concerned, the college doesn't organises internships very ofte...

A deemed university and an autonomous institute.

Placements: The placements were very good for our batch and it has a good record for the present batch as well. The highest salary is around 8 LPA and above, the average is 5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Till now, due to a very good network of faculty members, each and every student gets placed through their own capability. Any company accepts good students from SPA offering a role of Architect, City Planner, Transport Planner, Urban Designer, Landscape Engineer, BM Engineer, Industrial Designer. ...

This is an amazing place to be in. The college is full of extracurricular activities and has an excellent academic environment. The teacher-student relations are friendly. The feeling of being in a family binds all the students together. The college is very strict on academic rules and regulations, and hence holds the first place in the academic excellence category of Indian architecture colleges.

The college campus is nice but the cafeteria is not inviting. The classes are well conducted and duly all the submissions are reviewed. The curriculum is strictly followed but the students are not given freedom to treat college as their own space as we being students of architecture like to attach a sense of belongingness to our workstation. Also, the surveying labs and model making workshops are not quite functional. These practical lectures also get converted into PowerPoint presentations. No ...

SPA being one of the oldest and pioneer Institute in specialized field reflects its experience in education. Classroom and studios are interactive and interesting. The qualifications and experience of faculties are outstanding and probably the best in the nation. Though it’s a mess in terms of infrastructure, limited hostel accommodation, and some compromised spaced studios, and playgrounds. Hostel life is at SPA is amazingly awesome and is worth experiencing and I guess it’s known for it. Perh...

College is good academically; it provides much knowledge for the industrial revolution.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed, with the highest salary found to be 14-15 LPA as per the data provided. Average packages here are 6-7 LPA, which is decent. Top recruiting companies include Boyce & Godrej, JLL India, Deloitte, and the World Bank. The internship percentage is also good.

College tedha hai, par mera hai

Placements: Minimum placements as there is no active placement cell. The highest packages is 7lpa and minimum would be 3lpa which is very low. Companies like kpmg, deloitte are there. Around 20% got internships. They mostly hire as project associate. In two semesters people needs to go to internship on their own.

Our batch has an excellent panel to guide us throughout our two years.

Placements: I think students were more focused on what they wished to pursue further in their professional life. All 15 students of the batch either got placed in various institutions or started their own private practice. Internships were compulsory, so everyone had a good exposure for 6 weeks at various organisations in the country.

Great wholesome experience.

Placements: Every student gets a chance for summer internships on behalf of college and some may choose to do on their own. We work under development authorities in the internship processes. We constantly are working on projects which help us learn to analyse better. The experienced faculty is a great help to us during all our projects and assignments.
