The college is very good with good infrastructure and patient outflow.
Placements: The percentage of placement is 95+%.
All who got government jobs under NHM or others went for PG courses.
The percentage of internships is 100; it's done under the state government, and we got a stipend for it also, around 35k, which is the highest in India for MBBS students.
PG Radiology is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Yes, we get good infrastructure with a good library in our college.
Yes, the hostel is also good with good food. We have our personal ground also where every student can play.
In our college, there are other courses too, like B.Pharma, B.Sc. Nursing, etc. So you can choose SMCH for that also.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful.
The exams are not so much difficult. The pass percentage of last year is 99%.
There is huge patient outflow in Silchar Medical College.
Yes, the curriculum is prepared by the University Srikanta Sankardev Health University, and it makes students hospital-ready.
Other: I want to become a doctor, so I chose this course.
Everything is good in our college.
Yes, there is an annual event in our college.

I am dissatisfied with the college sanitary facilities.
Placements: The required percentage for this course will be above 65% in each of the subjects. We get very good placements, but the highest package goes around 2.5 LPA, and the lowest will be 1.2 LPA. The average package goes around 1.5 LPA. If we get the highest percentage in this course, then we get very reputable companies. The top recruiting companies are GMCH, GNRCH, NEMCARE, etc. The roles offered are physician, researcher, technician, surgeon, etc.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure of this college is well-spaced and clean. There is availability of 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities, all laboratory rooms, lecture halls, libraries, game rooms, etc. There are also facilities of hostel amenities where quality food is guaranteed as we need nutrition to be professionalism. We can play any outdoor games whenever we have free time with our friends.
Faculty: The teachers are very well respected and polite. They also counsel about future options and guide us well. And they are all well educated from reputed colleges. This course is very related to medicine, labs, hematology, prescriptions, etc. After that, the difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate; if we have studied for the exams, we can easily get good marks. The minimum percentage we need is 45% in each subject, or below that is a fail. But I don't think anyone can fail in this course as they take care of us every day, the faculty members.
Other: I personally love this course, as it is of my choice, and I love being in a medical field. The things that should be improved are that many people don't get this course as they think we can provide very much stress or tension. But in reality, there is nothing to be worried about. We just need to do the regular work and study every day. And that's enough for the living. The campus provides every year a college fest, extracurricular activities, and college week. On these days, we can show our hidden talent in different games or any hobby.

Review of Silchar college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is quite good, nearly 70%. The highest and lowest packages offered in my course are 1.4 to 2 Lakhs monthly. Top recruiting companies are interested in my course. The percentage of internships in my course is 80% in many good companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course are superb. The quality and classroom facilities in my course are good, and the food is tasty. Medical facilities are also available for the students. Sports and games are available for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified. All teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant, and students are ready for industrial visits. The semester exam in college is easy. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course to gain medical knowledge. There is no wish to improve. Events are also held in this college. Scholarships are not provided in college.

You can apply for this college.
Placements: Internships are available in various places like GMCH, Maligaon, and Narayana. For internship purposes, it is very helpful to learn and get knowledge. We are exposed to many things from where we can learn and gain knowledge. About 90% have got jobs in various fields like teachers, staff nurses, nursing offers, etc.
Infrastructure: The course is good, and the faculty is helpful. There are digital boards and projectors available in the classes. The library is good and calm for studies; many books are available according to the courses. Labs are highly equipped. Hostels are good but not spacious; it's very congested for 4-5 people to stay in one room.
Faculty: Teachers are very good; they are very friendly and helpful. They help with all types of things they can up to their limit. Semester exams are conducted by SSUHS. The pass percentage is 89.1 from our batch. SSUHS question papers are a bit tough and easy; we have to just focus on our studies, and it will be easy.
Other: Events are good, but the college hall is not that big.

It is a government medical college with almost all facilities.
Placements: The course is for 4.5 years. After that, every student has to do one year of internships in the hospital if they pass the final exam. Almost 100% of students got internships. After that, they have to go for a one-year rural posting.
Infrastructure: It is a government medical college so every required facility is available in our college. Our college offers post-graduation degrees in different subjects. Our college has an attached hospital so every basic facility is available for people for their basic utility.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching techniques are very helpful. Semester exams or other exams are very difficult. One needs a minimum of 50% of marks to pass exams. So one needs to work very hard to do good in the course.
Other: I chose MBBS because it provides knowledge that we can cure people's problems. Our course is very lengthy. It is a difficult course. So after passing out or becoming a doctor, people should respect our hard work.
