Good faculty with average placements.

Placements: The placements in our college are average and most of the companies are coming from the IT sector. They are providing a package ranging from 2-5 lakhs and offering roles of software engineer only. For placements, we are getting training sessions for aptitude solving.

The college is good in curriculum.

Placements: Placements are average in our campus and not so many companies are visiting. But the companies that are visiting or had visited earlier have given good packages and the average comes out to be 3-5 lpa. Companies that are visiting regularly are mostly from IT sector with few companies belonging to the core sector.

SRM University- life and other details.

Placements: A lot of companies come but most of the students get jobs in service based companies like CTS, TCS etc. More than 90% students get 2-3 lakh package for a period of 3 years without increments, where they just have to find errors in programs coded by others. But even then SRM provides a lot of opportunities. More than 200 companies come for placements. But the students here don't have the prerequisite skills needed to go into those good companies.

Good college with a decent curriculum.

Placements: Placements are pretty good with a good amount of companies visiting the campus in the previous batches and offered decent profiles. As most of the companies are from IT sector, so mechanical guys like us have to put a lot of effort in getting into these companies. One or two mechanical companies also came but they took a handful of the eligible candidates with a good package. The highest package in the previous batch was 5 LPA and the average will be around 2.5-3 LPA.

SRM University Ramapuram is a good place to do engineering.

Placements: The placement in the college was good for our seniors as almost all of them had a placement offer letter. The average salary package was in between 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum. Many companies visited our college like Wipro, TCS, CTS, Amazon, KPIT, Cisco and much more. The highest package was 5.4 lakhs per annum.

Placements are good but could be better.

Placements: The placements were pretty poor for our senior batch. 75% of the students were placed in our department. The average salary is between 3-3.2 lakhs but I have no knowledge about the highest salary. Bulk recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro etc and many other core companies have visited our campus. Most of them were software jobs. 60% of the students got the internship from the college.

It teaches you to struggle hard to attain success which is exactly what's needed to survive in life.

Placements: Placements for our campus are very difficult to obtain in core industries in my stream. Usually, everyone either opts for further studies or go for IT companies. But as far as placements are concerned, for the mechanical stream, it's hard to come by. In the end, it is what you make out of the college experience rather than expecting them to provide a good platform.

College is okay but a great place to create memories and learn a lot in life.

Placements: They always focus on 100% placement. They will do their best to get you a placement and cooperate. However, cooperation is based on the teacher or the person in charge. Some departments have responsive in-charges, while others don't. Also, only after all the students from the main branch are placed will others receive good placements.

All about SRM Ramapuram Engineering College.

Placements: If you have a good CGPA, you will get the opportunity for campus interviews, but depending upon your skills, your LPA and the companies you are going to get placed with will vary; skills matter. Some faculty won’t even care about your mental health; they act like they are coming just for the salary. I don’t want to mention any names.

Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: About 45% of students got placed in our course. IBM, Amazon, Flipkart, Ascension, ASUS, Samsung, OnePlus, etc., visit our college. Almost 70% of students got internships. Top roles offered are HR and manager.

Good infrastructure but didn't get the college life that I expected.

Placements: As my course is related with films we can't say much about placements here but in graphics department, students have got jobs in some MNCs. Annual College fee is INR1.5 lacs and it is a 3-year course. Diploma in acting is also offered and 100% of students should go internships.

The college has good facilities and classrooms.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Placements percentage is 100%, but you have to be a scholar and an actively smart to get good placements from SRM placement drive. There is a placement cell that helps students from the beginning of their first year, and that is very helpful.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: I started B.Tech in 2015. I'm not sure about previous placements but from 2015 placements are 100% as shown with criteria and management process. Salary offered depends on criteria and maybe capability and management. Many recruiters visited campus to recruit. Many roles offered to students. The average salary package is still 3-4 LPA with inflation at peaks.

The college's education is poor, placements are good, and infrastructure is bad.

Placements: In the year 2018, placements are quite bad compared to previous years. Maybe from the next year, it might get even worse as students are increasing in number each year. If students work hard, they get placed easily. Students have to travel around 30 km every time for attending a placement drive. Placements are based on companies that are divided into 3 phases. First is many-core CSE companies visit the campus and recruit students. Second-day mass recruitment is conducted, and many students get p...

Review of SRM University Ramapuram - SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: We heard from our seniors that a number of students got placed in 2017 are lower than the previous years. During placements, you can attend both Ramapuram and KTR campus placements. In these 4 years, you will get many chances of making contacts, that can help you at the time of placements.

It is worth the money, but it has a huge need for development.

Placements: The college provides very few placements. If you have skills, you can get placed off-campus. Still, placements are better than most Indian colleges.

I suggest you think before you join here as only IT companies visit the college for placements.

Placements: If you want to get placed in core companies, then never join SRM, and especially Ramapuram. Only IT companies visit here in which you can get jobs, but you must know coding and other languages to get placed. There are many CSE students nowadays, so to compete with them is totally difficult for us as they are good at coding, but we didn’t know C language. So, I suggest you think before you join here.

It is not a good college for graduation.

Placements: Placements of our college are not good, and specifically for the civil department as the college doesn't provide placements. If they offer placements, and that too in IT sectors. Core companies don't visit our college for placements, and whenever they visit, then they hardly recruit 7-8 students out of 200 students. Most of the students were offered with a starting salary of Rs.15,000-16,000 per month, which is not worth it paying 2 lacs per year.

It's a flooded campus. If you think that you can survive in this environment, then you can join.

Placements: Placements were average to good. The placement was 100% for CSE and IT. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. Mostly 70% of students get internships. TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro and other big companies visit the college for placements.
