SRM ncr campus a place where u should be.

Placements: Well SRM is truly known for its placements that are quite good. If u have skills then chances of u getting placed increases. Placements for CS is quite good but for MECHANICAL and Civil it's below average. The degree that u will be getting will be from the main campus that is katthankolathur.

Moderately good college but it is not worth the money they are charging as fees.

Placements: As of now I am in third year and I haven't been placed in any company. I would be going for placements in 4th year. There is a problem that companies don't come here in NCR campus for recruiting freshers. We need to go to the Chennai campus for placements. They provide food and shelter over there in Chennai. I was in touch of my seniors and I got to know that overall the placement is good but for my branch I. e. automobile the placement is not in par with other branches like CSE or IT etc. Even ...

Best placement, the worst faculty.

Placements: Placements are quiet good for the batch 2018 and for our senior batch also. In CSE branch we are total 400 students out of which 350 appeared for placements, and out of 350, 300 students got placed, placements for CSE AND IT is absolutely fantabulous, but for other branches like EEE, Mechanical, ECE, civil, automobile placement is not that good. Actually students of other branches are provided equal opportunity but recruiters expect coding from students of each and every branch, hence most of t...

Dissatisfied with the campus life.

Placements: The placements for 2014-2018 are quiet good. 95% Batch is placed. The highest package was around 16 Lacs whereas the lowest was of 2 Lacs. Many good companies like Microsoft, google, amazon, MU sigma, TCS, Wipro, Infosys visited the campus. 0% students get internship from college. Yes, there is a placement cell. It's only for use to get relevant information about placements.

Really Co-operative Faculty.

Placements: The placement is never in the hands of the college. The placement depends only upon how the students perform. But considering this college the amount of efforts they put in the placement which is for making the student more and more efficient in placement exams of the company. The amount of companies coming every year is enormous. Every year almost more than 250+ companies are coming to the campus for hiring procedure. In the end all what matters is how the student is performing.

Good in term of campus life, average placement in 2017, poor infrastructure and area of campus.

Placements: The college placements are average, but of late it is working hard to provide you with some really good placement. Despite, I got 2 offer letters, but I feel my senior's placements were better as compared to us. The number of hiring in the mass recruiting was greater in the previous year. There were approximately 70% placements in 2017 batch which is less as compared to the previous batch. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, the lowest was 1.8 LPA, and the average was 3.2 LPA. It is not a good place to go as they treat students like they are in school.

Placements: I think the placements were good when I joined the college, but with time, it is not that good anymore. Maybe it is because the chairperson TR Parivendhar got arrested last year, and since then the reputation of our college has gone down. Our senior batch placement wasn't that good as they told us. Now, let us see what happens with us when we attend this year.

College is not worth the fees.

Placements: It was not up to the mark. But hard work has paid to the fullest. Mass recruitment had taken many students but they r not paying them so well. The highest package was just 9 lacs per annum and the average package is 1 to 3 Lacs which is quite a shameful thing. Let's hope for the best for next year.

Avoid joining SRM, NCR campus and better go to the Chennai campus.

Placements: The placements of the previous batches were good, and almost everyone got placed in mass companies with 90-95% placements in the CSE and IT. Here things were different in my batch with only about 30-45% of the students getting placed this year. Though the placement session here is still going on, only 5 to 7% more student will get placed as most of the companies are done with hiring, and the placement session here is about to end. The placement in the other branches of B.Tech is even worse.

I would not suggest this college to anyone.

Placements: The placement for our batch hasn't started yet, and for our senior batch, it wasn't good enough as only 70% of the students got placed, and that too majorly in the mass recruiters. Only a few of the students get a high paying job as they work hard on their skills, and they learn those skills themselves but not from the college.

Overall, the campus is average.

Placements: The placements in this college were good for my batch and even better for the previous batch, but it is degrading the placement quality year by year. In my batch, the highest package was for 10 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Hardly, 10% of the students got the internship, and the stipend was around Rs.10,000 per month.

The college teachers are good, but the management is poor.

Placements: The placement which takes place is centralised placement in Chennai main campus. So, the placements are not that good for our senior mechanical batch from our institute. Only a handful of students have placed, approximately, 10-12 students. The average package was 3 Lacs per annum. The highest package was of 6 Lacs per annum. And, the lowest package offered was of 2 Lacs. No internship is offered by the college. The computer science students get a good package from the industry. The highest pack...

You're on your own here. If you can fight it out yourself, then you will surely succeed.

Placements: The placements are close to 100% for CSE department with companies like SAP, Amazon, Aruba, EY, and many tech giants recruiting the students. The same cannot be said for other departments. The placements for ECE department was less than satisfactory. Only 15% of the total student capacity got placed in core companies, and the rest was left at the mercy of mass recruiters such as TCS and Infosys. Owing to the slowdown in the IT sector, the mass recruiters reduced their hiring capacity.

Not so much satisfied. What I thought about and what I got was totally different.

Placements: Last year there was a good placement record. But in this year there is a lot of depreciation in placements. We can see the market situation; the demand is very less now. And the production of engineers is on a very large scale now. A lot of private colleges are established now.

Honest review of SRM, NCR campus.

Placements: On the rate of 1-10, I would rate 5 because you will face plenty of racism, or I should say campus in short. If you are from SRM Chennai campus, there are high chances to get placed so I would suggest going to Chennai campus rather NCR campus in which the main campus is undoubtedly much superior and high placement record.

Go to Chennai main campus. NCR campus is just a waste of time and money.

Placements: Placements are fine if you don't have any backlogs during your seventh semester. Although, expect placements only in mass companies as only 2 to 3 students get placed in the core from NCR campus. In other words, placement is the only thing that this campus offer (against the huge amount of money that you pay).

This college is near to average in all the things. It is not very good and not very bad.

Placements: Placements of this campus in comparison to the main campus is very low. Only the CS and IT branch placements are good, and this is the only thing in this college. If anybody wants to take admission in this campus, so I will suggest, please take admission into the main branch of SRM which is in Chennai because both the campuses are same, but only the hostel fee is different.

The college is okay for average students and good for technical students as the opportunities.

Placements: First of all, the placement depends upon the candidates coding skills and the interest in other technical fields apart from the college syllabus. Overall, the placements are average. Almost, 85% of the students got placed in the mass recruiter companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. The rest (which are good in the technical skills) got placed in the core companies like Amazon, Fidelity, etc. The average package of this college is 3.25 LPA, and the highest is 15 LPA.

A good college if you are out of options.

Placements: You'll be spending the most of your final year's time on the placement season on the Chennai campus. The placements were great until the 2016's batch, but the placement scenario isn't that great since the 2017's batch. You'll end up getting a job for sure, but not in your field. However, the college must not be blames for it as the IT industries are going through a rough time.

Choose only if you don't have any other option

Placements: The placements were pretty good. The placements of the NCR campus is conducted in the SRM University main campus. Lots of dream companies visited our college for the first few days and after that, only startups were visiting though they were offering handsome packages. Most of the companies were based out of Chennai. The highest package for CSE was about 16 LPA. Many mass recruiters also visited the campus and if you can clear the aptitude test, you will get a job between the range of 3.3-3.5 LP...
