Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai- NCR Campus, Modi Nagar.

Placements: The placements for the batch of this year batch are considered average, as some changes are introduced in KUR exam pattern. It affected the student's grades, and as a result, the placements are average. The percentage of students getting placed was quite good, around 85-90%.

SRM 1st a place to grow and move forward. Learn, leap and lead.

Placements: The placement opportunity in the college is very high. The only thing you have to do is set your goal and work for it. The average package for all the branches is 4 to 5 LPA. Almost all the major companies visit the college, and the placements process is carried out in Chennai.

A good college with good facilities.

Placements: The placements of CSE and IT department are fine, but there is very less placement for the rest of the branches. The average package is 5 lakhs per annum a student can get. There is almost 80 percent placement of CSE department. The minimum CGPA required is 7 for getting a good job.

Absolutely satisfied because of facilities.

Placements: The placements of CSE and IT department are very good here. All students having a fine CGPA above 7 surely can get placement in the college. Besides this, the placement of other branches is not good. It is very difficult to get placed in any other branch.

Average placements in 2017, but good college for computer science.

Placements: The placements in this college are done from the mother campus in Chennai. All the students have to live on the main campus in our 7th and 8th sem for the placements. The placements till last year were nearly 100%, and this year it was not good, but I got placed in Vedanta at 10 LPA which is the highest in my department, and the lowest being 1.8 LPA. About nearly 450 companies visited the college including Honeywell, ABB, Schnieder, Seimens, Vedanta, Hyundai, Renault, IFB, KPIT, etc. A placement...

Really worth for money education for those who want to get something in their life.

Placements: From NCR campus, these people send the students to their main campus in Chennai. The placements are taken place in the main branch only. Many core companies come, and they recruit students during placement drive period. Placements in SRM is better than other private universities.

The best place to learn and grow.

Placements: The placements are really good here, and almost 400 companies visit the campus. All eligible students get placed according to their knowledge. Th faculty are less knowledgeable and helpful. The students have to prepare everything on their own. The college is a very good place to learn and grow. Everyone is preparing from the very beginning for getting placed here. The college provides all the materials, you just need be sincere and work hard.

Quite a good college to study.

Placements: Around 200 companies were welcomed to the college for placements this year. Around 60% of the students got into the campus placements. It was really a great experience for the students to appear in the interviews and tests. We do have a placement cell that is ready to help us all the time.

Really good infrastructure and good placement.

Placements: Campus placement is quite good as everyone has to go Chennai for the placements. Most of the people get placed with a good and satisfied package. The average package of most of the core companies goes up to 6 LPA to 10 LPA. Placement training is given from the first year so that students don't lack their confidence while sitting for the placements.

The college is good because of the infrastructure facilities.

Placements: The college placement is excellent as compared to the other colleges. The amount of students getting placed is much more. If the students have good knowledge, then the placement is confirmed. The companies like Mu Sigma, Accenture, HCL, L&T, Infosys, Amazon, etc., visit the college with the good offering packages.

The college is good to learn, but when it comes to the placements, it is bad.

Placements: For our seniors and our batch as we are from core sector, the college offers no placement. Only 5 students out of 250 placed that's the ratio of core sector. Mostly students from the main campus are recruited for jobs. For the college to maintain its reputation, there must be attention paid to the internships and placement and faculty. Those are handling placement cell should develop some relationships with people working amongst industries.

Somewhat satisfied, if you can study for yourself, then you should take admission.

Placements: SRM Institute of Science and Technology NCR Campus is located in Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The placements are conducted on the Chennai campus. As per my knowledge, placements are not as good as expected by us. There is no guarantee that you will definitely get the placement as the number of students is very high. Accordingly, placements will be given, so if you think you are the best in programming, then only choose this college. Otherwise, you will regret afterwards. The average pac...

I would like to say that, it is a university of not up to that level that I was expecting it to be.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark, but that was expected. The students having CGPA above 8.5 were placed. The highest salary offered was of 6 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average is in between 3-4 LPA. Many companies visited the campus, but the maximum students were in Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and much more. Around, 30-40% of the students were given the internship.

Good faculty and a nice learning experience.

Placements: The placements in SRM University are really good. The companies usually seek people with good practical knowledge and talent, that’s exactly what people are trained in this university. The placements are promised, and everyone gets it. 4 set of quantitative and qualitative aptitude tests are conducted, by which it is decided that which students to be sent for placements in which set of the round. After that, personal interaction/ interviews are all an integral part of the placement criteria, on ...

Dissatisfied with the medical facilities, good placements so far. The faculty are very talented.

Placements: For placements, students are sent to SRM University, Kattankulathur (main campus) where students from all campuses of SRM compete with each other for a job. The placements have been good so far. They start in July and end in March. There are ample amount of opportunities, but the problem is that the companies that visit usually take a maximum of 23 students (E&Y) and a minimum of 2 students (SAP Labs) in the core and there is a huge crowd to compete with. This year, 40% of the students have been...

It is a good college because of very good placements.

Placements: The placements here are good as SRMIST follows a centralised placement system. The final year students are taken to SRMIST, Chennai, and so far no bias is noticed against the students of the other campus. The students of CSE, IT and ECE branches are very well placed. EEE branch has recently got good improvement in placement percentage. The lowest salary offered was around 2.4 lpa, and the highest was well above 12 Lakhs. Satisfying education and placements and a serious stuff for studies.

Placements: There are good placements, especially for CSE and ECE. But from 2017, there are more requirements as compared to the previous years, but the overall placements are much better than the other private institutes in comparison. SRM NCR sends the students to the Chennai campus for the placements, but a loss of NCR student is there because first preference is given to the students of the main campus. Hence, it is good for the NCR students as they will get the opportunity and the placement is good. Bu...

Placements: The placement of our senior batch was quite good. Almost 90% of the students from the CSE department got placed in different companies. The highest package was 15 lakhs, the lowest package was 3 lakhs and the average package was around 4 lakhs. TCS, Infosys and Amazon were among the major companies that came for the placement drive. SRM University, Delhi NCR campus review by a student currently studying there.

Placements: The placement is quite good with respect to other private universities. But it suffered due to GST and President Trump (his policies) as a lot of CSE students are not planning to go abroad. If you think CSE will surely get you placed, then SRM is not for you. You have to be talented to get placed. If you have the calibre, you will surely get placed in top IT companies.
