How to Prepare for SVUCET

Follow the below-mentioned steps on how one should prepare for SVUCET which is as follows:

Step 1: Know the SVUCET exam pattern and marking scheme

Step 2: Get the prescribed syllabus for the course applied for.

Step 3: Purchase prep books and study material.

Step 4: Solve sample papers and previous years' question papers.

Step 5: Revise as much as you can.

Prep Tips for SVUCET

One can follow the below-mentioned prep tips which can be quite handy for one's preparation.

Make a Time Table: One should start their preparation by creating a time table. One should plan out as to how much of the syllabus can be covered on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. A time table gets you to be more focused and determined as there is not much wastage of time. Finish the syllabus accordingly such as covering a unit in a day or three to four chapters in a span of four hours.

Purchase Prep Books and Study Materials: Another way of studying better is by purchasing prep books and study material for the course you have applied for. If you have applied for MA History, one needs to get prep books based on the era or period of time such as an expanded version of the World War II or Indian History from 1885 to 1947. Same for MSc Zoology, one needs to purchase prep books to understand the syllabus better. One is advised to purchase prep books from renowned authors/publications which are also highly recommended.

Solve Sample Papers & Previous Years' Question Papers: The best way to test one's abilities is by solving sample papers. One will know their strengths, their weak points, where there is wastage of time, on which topics one needs to concentrate more. Also, by solving previous years' question papers, one can get to know the exam marking scheme, the weightage of marks, which units and chapters are given more preference. Also, try to solve the question paper within the stipulated time limit. On doing that, you practice more and will have no problem of time when you sit down to appear for SVUCET on the main day.

Revision: One must always take out time to revise what they have studied. Jot down pointers and make notes so that one can remember the subjects and chapters better. Revise at the end of the day if you don't feel like studying. But do not leave the revision for the last date as that will only mount more pressure on you.

Rest: Along with revision, one must not forget to rest also. Take a nap in between if you want to as one needs a fresh and energies mind instead of being tired and weary. Have proper rest and study accordingly.
