The institution will provide you with the things, but it's you who have to use it to the fullest.
Placements: The placements are there. The students are selected for various sectors from Agri input to banking. But one thing you have to understand is that nowadays agricultural studies have become like engineering, and most of the people started choosing agriculture. As a result, there are so many agricultural graduates passing out every year compared to the vacancy in the job market. In recent days students are not getting jobs is increasing in the agricultural sector. Sometimes the jobs that students get on campus is also not up to the level. It is always your responsibility to get a job, and the institution will not be held responsible for that.
Infrastructure: As it is a government college, you can expect decent infrastructure. All the facilities like library, Wi-Fi, sports, medical facility, stationeries and xerox shops are available in the campus itself. It was established a century ago, the hostels are bit old, but you will surely enjoy it and the natural ambience in the campus.
Faculty: The course is unique and structured neatly with 60% agriculture and 40% business management for agricultural students to get a grip on the business area as well. You will also expose to actual industrial experience by a lot of educational tours, industrial visits and internships. The faculty members are excellent with great experience. They are easily approachable and highly helpful.
Other: This course expects the students to stand in their ways. It has the internship in its curriculum which allows students to attach themselves to a firm and experience practical knowledge. The students can select their own intern according to their interests with the help of the department. It also encourages to participate in more competitions. The students of the course organize a national level management meet called Prabandhaz every year. It is completely student organised which develop the managerial skills of the students.
