The campus is lush green, and it is away from town.
Placements: Our department is not top-notch for placement purposes. There are no on-campus placements, but one has to apply through off-campus and the information is provided to us for that. The exposure for internships is low as well. Students apply for an internship on their own. Our faculty members are good for recommendations when applying for research internships, but other than that, no job related talk is appreciated.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our department are good. It has state-of-the-art machines and laboratory resources. The Wi-Fi speed is good. The library is well-furnished with requisite and additional books. There are numerous hostels for both men and women. There are canteens in and around the campus. Tezpur University has fields for cricket, football and lawn tennis. It has a swimming pool. There are numerous clubs like literary, archery, etc.
Faculty: Professors in our department are excellent at their jobs. The department of chemical sciences is one of the best in the entire university. The course curriculum is good, and it has a number of vocational as well as theoretical courses. There are four examinations in a semester term test 1 for 25 marks, midterm or test 2 for 40 marks, test 3 for 25 marks, and end-term or test 4 for 60 marks). All the courses in a semester consider for your SGPA and are well-designed.
Other: Tezpur University has one of the most beautiful campuses one can find in India. The campus is completely lush green. All the hostels and departments are Wi-Fi connected. There are tons of extracurricular activities, and it has a lot of exposure for Unifests. There are clubs for music, dance, archery, literature, quizzing, etc.

Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.
Placements: I am still pursuing my course. Placements for my department are the least. Recruitment drives conducted are not good. The placement cell is not efficient. Very few students got good placements in IOC. Stipends are offered during internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are good, but some of the hostels are not good in terms of quality. Labs don't have adequate resources. Classrooms are a little smaller. Hostel rooms are good. Food provided in the hostel is bad but adjustable. Canteens are available in hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not well designed as per the requirements of the industries. The evaluation system is not good. Teaching methods should be modernised. Industry exposure is very bad. The curriculum was useful, but it should be designed for the betterment of society.
Other: The college organises fests and events. Scholarships are provided to the students.

The total number of seats for M.Sc (Integrated) in TEZU are 22. Hence, if you belongs to general category your rank should be under 10. While for OBCs rank should be below the 36(As per TUEE 2019 merit list). Further, university declares only TUEE ranks instead of cutoff marks.
