Great college by infrastructure, placements and college life and the faculty.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help us with whatever we need, and they also motivate us to do our best. The course curriculum is very relevant, and we will definitely need all of these skills in the industry. The exams are averagely difficult, but if we attend all the lectures and study the content provided by the teachers, it should be fine.

Thapar University's comprehensive review.

Faculty: The faculty members are decent enough. Teachers are very helpful and teach relevant stuff. They are highly qualified and hold PhDs in their fields. Semester exams are not very difficult here. This college follows relative grading. Overall, the system is very good.

Disappointed because of the faculty recently. Placements are not good, but infrastructure is good .

Faculty: Exams are very difficult and the pass percentage is around 35%. The exams are difficult, with a passing percentage of 35%. People need to study a lot to pass and appear in exams. The internship scenario was not good; people have to work really hard for it.

Review of Thapar University.

Faculty: Teachers in Thapar university are qualified. Maximum number of teachers are graduates from government universities. Course curriculum is relevant to a very far extent. It is not like a student will be industry-ready solely by acing academics. One will have to work on skills, learn every skill set, and excel in them. Sem exams are moderate, but if students think they can pull an all-nighter and score well, they are very wrong. Students has to study daily as teach in class.

It is good for B. Tech Biotechnology with well-equipped labs and good faculty.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good, professional, and cooperative at Thapar. They help students with everything and are ready to assist you anytime. The faculty is friendly here, and they teach you us the best. Semester exams in the first semester may be difficult as syllabus is new for students, and it will take time to understand subjects. But there is no need to worry, with time and proper study, students will improve. We have two exams each semester MSTs and tests. Before them, there are class t...

Thapar Institute has top-notch infrastructure with great facilities.

Faculty: Some faculty members are really nice and helpful, while others you may not find as helpful. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, the course is somewhat relevant. Semester exams are quite challenging for some subjects as you are studying them for the first time. Pass percentage varies based on the course and the difficulty level of the exam.

Great infrastructure and college life. Good placements in 2024. Faculty is good and helpful.

Faculty: The faculty in Thapar University is highly qualified, many of them being IITians. The faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality may differ from teacher to teacher, but they have vast knowledge about the courses they teach. The course has majorly everything that can make a student industry-ready. The semester exams are quite manageable if prepared on a regular basis. 95 percent of the students pass.

Chemical engineering at Thapar University was a wholesome experience.

Faculty: Faculty was very nice and helpful and was always available to address any issues the students were facing. Curriculum was good and not very hectic. But you'll have different assignments—practical and sessional—going throughout the semester. Overall, the experience is very good.

One of the best private colleges in India and really worth it .

Faculty: The faculty is not up to the mark, but the course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are not too difficult but are very unpredictable and tricky. Thapar needs to focus on better faculty because, at the end of the day, students have to study from YouTube or other sources, and classes are not helpful.

Amazed by the experience in Thapar University Patiala in 2024.

Faculty: Teachers at Thapar University are well qualified and helpful. The overall teaching quality is good. The course is a mix of theoretical learning and hands-on experience in every field. The curriculum is regularly updated to match the current world requirements. Semester exams are fair and challenging. And the pass percentage is typically high. There are overall 4 major exams in a year, with a few assignments to be submitted in between.

Great campus with beautiful park and infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are decent. Some are really good, and some are not, just like everywhere else. The course curriculum is relevant, as we have to take common subjects in the 1st year to make sure we know our strengths and weaknesses. Then, we carry on with the subjects we choose in BE. The college exams are pretty decent, much easier than JEE. You just need to be regular in class to pass them.

REVIEW BY THAPAR STUDENT

Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful. I don’t like going to classes . The teaching quality is not good . I don’t like the curriculum . In the first semester, there was no programming language, but in the 2nd semester, there was a C language. We have a subject in the 3rd semester as EDP, which I don’t think is very valuable, so I don’t like it as much, but it’s okay.

Totally a good college providing every possible facility and service.

Faculty: Teachers are very talented and qualified. Their teaching skills are mind-blowing. Sometimes it feels like you can achieve everything by doing proper studies according to them. Exams are a bit difficult because they want to check that the student will learn something or not.

Good placements and even good infrastructure

Faculty: Teachers were very kind and helpful. All teachers are well qualified from well known institutions. They have knowledge about even other things rather than their subject. Tis course curriculum was very relevant. They teach us things that was necessary for our placements.
