Good placements, little bit lacks in faculty, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements are really good in comparison with other private institutes. Placements of COE is approximately 90%. If you compare with government colleges placements are not that good. The highest salary was around 40 Lacs and the lowest was about 4-5 Lacs.

Overall, the college is good, and I don't regret in any way for joining this college.

Placements: Only one batch has passed out from this branch. However, placement rates of our college are good. The highest salary package offered was around 30 LPA, and the lowest was around 5-6 LPA. There is a placement cell available here, and it is efficient enough to make around 70%-75% of the students to get placed.

Thapar college is pretty good, and placements are really overwhelming.

Placements: Placements here are really outstanding. Approximately, 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA, and it was offered by mass recruiters.

Thapar institute of engineering and technology.

Placements: One of the most reputed college in the North. Has a efficient working and supportive placement cell. It is in good books of well respected companies. Will definitely get placed in one or the other company for sure, but the quality depends upon the individual.

Satisfied with campus life but not curriculum.

Placements: Placements are okay. 50% of chemical students got placed in reputed companies like yara fertilizers, jp morgan, JSW steel, johnson matthey and honeywell. The highest package was 12 LPA which was given by JP morgan and average package is around 5 LPA. So placements are good.

I am totally satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and all the facilities provided here.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements for M.Sc. in physics students. Placements are quite good for engineering students. Most of the students get placed. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. However, the college helps M.Sc. students regarding internships, but the stipend is not offered.

Overall experience was good here.

Placements: Placements were good this time. All the good recruiters like Microsoft, DE Shaw, Walmart Labs arrived this year, and packages offered were also too good. Many students were offered PPO from their summer internship also. Placement cell of the college is too active in calling big companies.

I was dissatisfied with the quality of education and the teachers who are not enough qualified.

Placements: Almost all the willing students got placed, but the packages offered for our branch are quite low. Placements for other branches were also quite satisfactory. Many companies offered the packages over 10 LPA for computer science students. Companies like Deloitte and JP Morgan offered placements. The college was not able to offer internships nor to invite any company for my branch. The placement cell works its best, and it is quite efficient in bringing companies to college.

Faculty, infrastructure, facility, academics, sports, extra curriculum, all are up to the mark.

Placements: Very good. Many companies are visiting the campus including core and noncore. We can also apply off campus and many students have been already placed. The average package goes about 6 LPA. Companies like Microsoft and De Shaw offer package as much as 30 LPA.

It is the best private institute in India.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Most of the giant tech companies visit our campus for placements. Most of the students got placed if their basics are just clear in companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc., which do not visit any private college as such in India. Everyone is working hard to get the placement.

It is a great place to learn and grow.

Placements: Placements in 2018 were not up to the mark. Many students used to cheat and qualify the tests. There were unfair methods, and the main focus was only on the computer science branch. The chemical engineering branch was neglected, and we were also not allowed to sit for companies that visited for computer science even if we wished to.

A mix of thoughts for Thapar.

Placements: Placements are good, there are a lot number of companies visiting the campus every year, but yea that's different thing that percentage of students being placed from our branch are decreasing every year. The reason that could be behind this is students are not sure about which field they have choose like they have to go for core or non core fields.

Thapar University ECE review.

Placements: A lot of companies visit like Microsoft, Amazon, de Shaw etc. Most students in electronics and communication were placed by the end if the placement season. Package offered is tier 2 college average. Most of the placements are in software development profile.

Good place to study with good placements.

Placements: Placements were average for the students of our senior batch. Around 65%-70% of the students got placed through on-campus placement drives. As far as our batch i.e., 2017-19, around 80% of the students got placed through on-campus placement drive. Various companies that visited the campus were AzurePower, ClickLabs, Smart Data, Nestle, Capital First, and FedEx etc. Most of the companies offered sales and finance job roles. Review of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements in college are pretty good. The average salary package offered is around 6.5-7.5 LPA, and it is offered to computers, electronics and ENC students. The highest salary package offered this year was 39 LPA, and it was offered by Microsoft to almost 6 students. There were around 3-4 companies which offered salary package more than 25 LPA. There are also companies that provide internships to 3rd-year students, but they are low in numbers.

The college life was amazing here.

Placements: Placements were good in 2015. Well-reputed companies have visited the campus and offered us new opportunities. Along with analyst and IT companies, a few core companies also visited the campus with decent packages. Overall, the placements are good. Well-reputed companies like Samsung, JSW, and Free Scale, etc., visited the campus for placements.

Somewhat satisfied, good placements in 2018. Infrastructure is very good.

Placements: Placements at Thapar are quite good. If someone is hardworking and having a CGPA of about 8.5 in COE branch, then he/she will definitely get placed here. You can also apply for companies which are not related to your stream. So it all boils down to one thing that if you have what it takes to get placed, then you will definitely get placed at Thapar. One of my senior friends got placed for a salary package of 40 LPA from ECE branch recently. The average salary package offered for COE branch at Th...
