The Neotia University (ICAR accredited), one of the best private University for Agriculture.
Placements: All the students those were willing to get a job after B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture , got placed. According to our Dean sir, the median package was 2.8-3 LPA. Except few all the students are pursuing M.Sc./ ABM now. Each and every student got internship this year.
Infrastructure: Smart classroom with well equipped laboratories are there. Huge field area for practical crop production is also there. Protected structure, power tillar, tractor, ploughs etc. for agricultural engineering. Free Wi-Fi is also there. One ambulance for medical emergency. Quality of food is average. GYM- volleyball court, cricket ground etc. are there. I am a day scholar, that's why I don't have a great knowledge about hostel facilities.
Faculty: There are 55+ faculty members. Most of them are having PhD degree and all of them are NET qualified. The Neotia University follows the ICAR curriculum. TNU is the first private university in West Bengal to get ICAR accreditation. Semester exams are not too hard, you may easily pass the semester exams if you have general understanding about your subjects.
Other: The Neotia University is the first private university in West Bengal to achieve ICAR accreditation. The package provided by the university is very low, it could be better. TNU situated in a rural area so, connectivity issues are there. University provides scholarship to the meritorious students. Annual fest, freshers welcome event, sports event etc. are conducted in every year.

Infrastructure: The department of agriculture and allied sciences has 13 labs with all necessary facilities according to ICAR guidelines: a smart classroom, a library with a book bank facility, two canteens inside the campus, and three hostel canteens (2 for boys and 1 for girls) as well. There is a medical harbor, a psychological clinic, a krishak bandhu, or agricultural advisory, and legal help, all of which are supervised by respective departments.

Detailed information about The Neotia University.
Placements: 1. More likely, 70% of students were placed in our course. 2. The lowest package was around INR 12K–15K, and the highest package was around INR 30K–35K per month. 3. Around 30% of students applied for placements; I don't know because I am not in touch with them ever. 4. Various types of roles were given by various types of companies.
Infrastructure: 1. Wi-Fi was only available for NITMAS students or for those who had laptops. Other facilitators were good too. 2. Rooms were extremely good in condition; food was average; other things were good. Every year, many sports competitions are conducted. Some of those include other colleges. Various types of sports are included, like football, table tennis, cricket, etc. wew played
Faculty: 1. Yes, they were always helpful to everyone; their teaching pattern was great. They enriched my knowledge a lot. 2. Yes, the curriculum will make you industry-ready. 3. Exams are moderate; more likely, 90% is the passing percentage. Almost every student passed out with more than a 6 CGPA. Only a few students failed their exams.
Other: 1. It was near my hometown. Accommodation, lab, libraries, gym, swimming pools, playgrounds—everything was top-notch. Teachers were so helpful. 2. Vast areas for field practise for cultivating different crops are there. 3. The IMPULSE fest was too good. Annual Fest, Cultural Fest, Sports Fest, etc. are very joyful and mind-refreshing.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the placement in 2022. Good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Very poor placements; less than 20% got the highest salary of INR 20,000 per month. The majority of companies pay between INR 12 and 15 thousand per month. All the small companies were there—only 5–6 companies all together. And most of the company offers only sales roles.
Infrastructure: As I was in the first batch for agriculture, there was a lack of lab and field work facilities, but class room-wise things were quite good. The hostel was awesome, the food was okay, the sports were quite good, and there were also medical facilities for basic treatment. Overall good.
Faculty: The teachers were quite good, with good knowledge and qualifications, and the way they taught was excellent. The course curriculum was good. The semester exam was averagely tough as we already had the study materials and suggestions, so it was quite easy to pass—almost 80% of the students passed.
Other: I chose this course because it's quite demanding, and the best part is that it has a good growth opportunity. But universities should provide good placement. There were many exciting events and festivals, as well as a sports festival.
