It is the so far best...
Placements: There is a 60+ student capacity in each classroom. The lowest or starting fee structure for an arts/commerce course is 40,000. There are more than 7,000 students in the university and over 28 courses available for students to apply and learn for their respective qualifications.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very friendly and cooperative, helping in every step of a student's life. The computer lab is equipped with many research documents. The hostels are well-disciplined and clean. There are also grounds available for games like football, volleyball, and cricket, accommodating any sport that requires space.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly, helpful, and qualified, as they are experienced and knowledgeable. They help prepare students for any obstacles in their future and teach them about business and many life skills.
Other: Political Science is the most flexible course, offering ample scope for future opportunities and job applications in almost any field. There are also events that include sports and cultural nights, where students can participate and showcase their hidden talents.

Satisfied, best teachers, good infra. Only problem is extra curricular activities and hostel timing.
Placements: As the course tries to prepare you for UPSC and other services, there is no such thing as a ready placement but it makes you competent enough for any service you want. So it only needs determination from the students to learn from the best teachers who are always ready to help.
Infrastructure: Good facilities but wifi can be a problem sometimes The food is okay and there are medical facilities as a hospital is also being constructed in the premises. The hostel timing for girls is very strict 5pm. Sports and games can be a problem since not much encouragement is given nor much tournaments are held.
Faculty: Best teachers! They always give their best to impart the knowledge that the have and you can gain alot from them. This course refines you to compete in competitive exams and gives you a good chance to gain knowledge that will help clear the exam The semester exam difficulty is at par with what is taught which is good
Other: Campus life is okay... Not much of extra curricular activities

The INs and OUTs of USTM.
Placements: Our course did not provide us with placement opportunities as it strictly adhered to a coaching environment, with the main goal of the course being the competitive examinations, namely UPSC. The course also did not encourage internships as it would take away the focus on academics and self-reading time for the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities were up to date, with an elevator in each block, a power generator, and fans in each classroom. There were designated cleaning staff for each block and a block coordinator to ensure the smooth functioning of the block. The hostel facilities were also up to date, containing 3-sitter and 2-sitter rooms, with attached and non-attached bathrooms, a water filter on each floor, and a cooler in the mess hall. There is also a medical hospital on campus that provides free and discounted treatment to the students of the university. The university holds annual sports events spanning across each Saturday for about a month or so to encourage physical fitness alongside academic prowess.
Faculty: The teachers appointed for our department all come from UPSC backgrounds, making them highly qualified for the course. The course is very relevant in this current day and age when a huge chunk of the population is vying for a placement through various competitive examinations. This course provides a platform for students to not just attain a bachelor’s degree but also prepare them for various examinations, giving them an edge over other competitors. Each semester’s syllabus is carefully curated to ensure maximum knowledge is imparted to the students over the duration of three years.
Other: I opted for my course (Administration and Governance) as it provides the best of both worlds; being a bachelor’s degree along with a coaching environment to help better prepare students for competitive examinations. However, while the course syllabus makes the best use of our three years in the university, a more systematic and chronological order of world events, especially for history, would be more appreciated. The university has an annual fest garnering a huge crowd of students from inside and outside. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery, making it truly a place to be. Scholarships are also provided to students on a need and merit basis. There are various extracurricular activities encouraged by the university, such as horse riding clubs, driving clubs, literary clubs, etc.
