Satisfied with the campus and the teachers.
Placements: 70-80% of students get a placement Top companies from Scotland and Germany came here and selected students by interview. And the gold medalist got the high chance for this. The top role of the field in biotechnology is that though it is a new course in India and not so many people are aware of it, it is a very valuable course .
Infrastructure: Here, faculty members are so good. They teach very well. The lab of UTM is very good, and for the students of applied biology, we have a central research lab, which is the only lab present in a private university in North East India. The food quality is good in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course on biotechnology is relevant in many fields. The exams here are not very tough. There will be three sessional exams and one semester exam. And also, they helped students prepare for their competitive exams.

The college is accredited A by NAAC. Campus life is really good.
Placements: Around 70 % of students are placed in their final year in companies like Biocon, Nestled, etc. Various Roles are offered in this course like Lab technician, Product Analyst, Chemist, Quality Control Analyst. The minimum packages offered are around 6 LPA which can go upto 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped from test tubes to autoclaves. Free Wi-Fi are available in each department. Central library with books of any course even for competitive exams. Also have smart classrooms in each department. Hostels are available both in campus and off campus. The food is average but infrastructure are good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, many of them have craked GAT B Net, Slet. Their teaching quality is good and have a friendly approach. Biotechnology is a ofcourse a practical based course which makes us industry ready. Semester exams are moderate and pass percentage is above 90.

The university with a beautiful environment, best equipment, and a healthy study life.
Placements: The B.Sc. Microbiology course structure is 45,000 per semester. Companies like Mother Dairy and various researchers are involved, and there are internship offers available. There are many job opportunities in microbiology, including research in specific medicines for diseases.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is unlimited, and there are two labs dedicated to microbiology. The classrooms are neat and clean, providing a very clean environment. The infrastructure at USTM is quite good, equipped with the best facilities. The quality of food in the canteen is excellent, and there are many sports activities available.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, with 10 to 12 years of experience. I would give the microbiology course a 10/10. It is very interesting for students who want to delve deeper into the microbial field, which has many opportunities. Semester exams are not too difficult; everything comes from the notes, and the passing mark is a minimum of 60%.
Other: I chose microbiology because I love biology, and it is another branch of applied biology. I have always wanted to know more about the microbial field and contribute to human welfare. There are many opportunities in microbiology, and various activities and events are held in our college to showcase our hidden talents.

    Our campus life is great.
Placements: Our college provided good placements. Around 50% of students got placed in this course.
Infrastructure: Many laboratories were available in our department. There was a decent library in this college. Classrooms had an e-learning platform. Separate hostels were available for both boys and girls. Bus services were also available. The food quality was great. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. There was a generator on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. The teaching quality was satisfactory for us to understand every topic easily. The course curriculum was not relevant. Semester exams were moderately difficult. The pass percentage was 90%. Teachers also provided both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course was the teachers. This college also provided in-depth knowledge to students. Many events and fests were conducted in this college. Scholarships were provided to merit students. Around 90% of admission fees returned due to scholarship programs.

Good university for students who want to study hard. Many courses are available.
Placements: There was no option for placement in our course. We are on our own, whether to get a job or to study further. You can get placement on other courses but not in the course I applied to, as far as I remember. Not only our course but our department, i.e., applied biology, food science, zoology, etc. come into this department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There was Wi-Fi, although the data is very low. The labs are quite good. There were almost all instruments required for our course, and there was a library too that we could access anytime we needed by filling out a membership. Also, there is also a amenity center where we have a food court, pharmacy, beauty parlour, tailoring shop, fast food corners, and stationary. The hostel I would give a 3.5 star. Everything is good, except the food. Sometimes it's not tasty. Sports, games, etc. are there. We can do anything on the ground near the hostel.
Faculty: In short, the teaching quality is great. I feel like going back to school again. The teachers are strict. If you are there only for time pass and want to enjoy university life by changing out and not studying, I suggest you not to study here. The course is above average difficulty. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant, and its practical class is very good. Semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is 60-70%.
Other: I heard from my friends that this course is good and there is less competition in this course while applying for a job. I learn many things related to microorganisms, like how they are cultivated, where they are used and all other things like DNA and all. The only thing I would love them to improve is to at least have attendance for each subject. There is only 2 times attendance, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. And if you miss your attendance class, your whole day attendance is gone. There is an endless number of events and fests in the university. Your university life will be enjoyable along with studying; other than that, there are many types of scholarships, like if you pass with a 9+ CGPA, all your admission fee will be returned to you. And there are also extracurricular activities like dancing, sports days, etc.
