An honest review, realities and opportunities of BBA pros and cons, placement and learning.
Placements: From my batch, only 2 students got placed in the placement drive. The highest package offered in my batch was Rs 18,000/month and the lowest package was Rs 15,000. My batch didn't have any top MNC companies but local companies. We got Federal bank, cement produce, financial investment advisors, etc. Only 4% students got placed because we have received plenty of job opportunities. The roles are either executive or trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my university is very good. It is located on a hill. Classrooms are average. My classroom consists of a desk, benches, a projector, screens, a board and whiteboards. We also have two smart classrooms. We have Wi-Fi for both faculty members and students. Students have to register themselves first with the admin to receive Wi-Fi access. We have both the department library and the central library. The libraries have a wide range of books. The food from the canteen is too bad and unhygienic.
Faculty: The faculty members of my department are too knowledgeable and mature. They make us understand topics in an easy manner with no confusion. Most of the professors have doctorate degrees with them. The teaching quality is also up to satisfactory and they mostly use modern methods of teaching. The course is relevant as it is up to the standards and guidelines of the UGC. The course offers both theory and practical knowledge to the students, making them industry-ready. The exams are moderately difficult. If we understand the topics, we can score high marks. The pass percentage is 36%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be HR manager and this course helps shape us to become managers. The best thing about this course is that it is industry-relevant and helps us understand how a company or organisation runs. My university do not conduct many festivals, etc. They only conduct academic events. They don't support student's festivals. campus crowd is almost 6,000 people. We do have the facilities of various scholarships. The university does not have any sports activities. But we have a music and dance club.
