Really good infrastructure is there.
Placements: Placements are offered to all the students who are registered for the TPP course worth 11,000 rupees, and about 120 unique companies come only for MCA students. Accenture, IBM, etc. are the top recruiters. Average package is around 6 LPA. Top roles are junior developer, data analyst, ccd engineer, devops, ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the classes now have air conditioning, and there are two blocks for computing in which many courses like BCA, AR VR, B.Sc., CS BCA, Data Science, MCA, AIML, MCA, ccd and devops are running. 2 boys hostels are present, which are just 50 m from acedamic block. And girls hotels are on main campus, which is 2 km away and university provide free buses for the girls hostels residence who are enrolled in Computing. Food is good and rooms and washrooms are cleaned daily.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very knowledgeable, some are average but all are doing well for the students as per new technologies. All are well qualified and many of them are Ph.D. holders. There are 3 exams in a semester: MST 1, MST 2, and end term, and also 2 lab exams: lab mst and final lab exam. Exam difficulty is moderate to high.
Other: I chose this course as I am not getting that much opportunity after B.Sc. CS and to get a hike in salary, I enrolled in this program. CU organizes almost 2-3 fests every month and every festival is celebrated there. Sufi nights, tech fest, freshers and many others where many big celebrities, actors and singers come for the performance and promotions also.

I am satisfied with the curriculum of the university and got the opportunity to learn many things.
Placements: The placement record of Chandigarh University is not that good or that bad. It is not good because they allow as many students as possible and don't have a limit for students in any course; that's why not everyone gets placed. So it is not certain that everybody will get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, and the library are available where you can study. The overall infrastructure is good, and the campus is also well maintained by the maintenance staff. Good facilities for water are provided in each block.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but it is very broad and unable to cover everything in depth during one semester. In one semester, you have to submit ten assignments for one subject, so you don't get proper time to study, and even faculty members are also busy assigning marks for the assignments.

MCA at CU North Campus (GGS).
Placements: In my batch, approximately 40-50% of the students got placed. Top recruiting companies included Accenture, Edifecs, TCS, Teach Mahindra, etc. The highest package might be around 8 LPA. The average package would be around 3-4 LPA. Very few internships were given to the students. Roles offered were Software Engineer, Trainee, Associate SDE.
Infrastructure: The hostel was quite nice, but it was in the main campus, and the classes for MCA were held in the North Campus, which is around 5 km away from the main campus. The facilities and infrastructure of the North Campus are not that good. There is no good food in the cafeteria. Classrooms were not fully air-conditioned. Hostel facilities were quite good, with spacious rooms, good food, and cleanliness.
Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful, except for some. Some teachers were very qualified, but some weren't. Some teachers really helped us to grow and learn. The course curriculum is not that relevant to what the industry demands. Semester exams were not that hard, and the passing percentage depends on the relative marking scheme.
Other: MCA classes are not held in the main campus, which is a negative point, as the main campus has all the necessary things which the North Campus doesn't.

Chandigarh University is the best out of the best.
Placements: Chandigarh University placements are always better than the others. In the current year, the students got approximately 9,000 campus placement offers from the University. The highest package is 54 Lacs for engineering department, for MCA, it is 15 Lacs with an average package of 5-6 Lacs. DPCD prepares the students for aptitude, soft skills, coding, and GD debate grounds. When students are in their last semester, the University provides internship opportunities in big companies like IBM and Oracle but we need to accept that this year the placements are lesser than the average placements of every year.
Infrastructure: Our university is very big, we need to travel distances to reach the departments but there is no transportation facility inside the campus. The college has Wi-Fi in the campus and the labs are modern having all the accessories. The classrooms are well maintained and in good condition. Without I card, entry is prohibited. Hostel facilities are offered by the college providing good accommodation and food facility. Shared and separate rooms with AC, washing machines, fan, and hot water is provided in the hostel. Sports ground is very big and we have competitions during the college’s annual fest.
Faculty: I feel that for Computer department there is a shortage of faculty, they are not enough in numbers. Therefore, the faculty is not enough to handle all the students and end up not being that helpful. The course syllabus is good but not up to the mark, it is related with the industries. The semester pattern followed by the University in one semester is that we have end sem exam, class tests, mid sem, moral, assignments, practicals, projects, and externals.
Other: The market place is 7 kms away from the college which is a major problem for the hostelers.

Chandigarh University review.
Placements: The drive starts from the 3rd semester, and almost 60 to 70 percent of students from past batches have been placed in many companies like Accenture, IBM, and many more. The top roles offered in companies are developers and coders; some companies have specific interests.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the hostel are good. They include food, Wi-Fi, purified water, and a cooler/AC. The quality of food is average to good; sometimes it feels excellent and sometimes average. The hostel has a very big ground in front of it, a side ground for volleyball, and an additional basketball court.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and young, which helps students discuss their problems with them. The teachers are also very friendly and cooperative with the students. Semester exams are held every one to two months: 2 mid-terms and 1 end-term.
Other: I chose cloud computing and DevOps because I want to be a cloud engineer, so Chandigarh University is one of the colleges that provides specializations in the MCA course, and the course fee is also budget-friendly.

MCA review, why not choose MCA.
Placements: Very few percentage of students have got placed till now; no one but our seniors said that only about 20 percent get placed, I think. The highest package is around 12 or 14 LPA, and the lowest is 2.3 LPA. Roles offered are web developer, Python developer, cloud engineer, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is installed, but the network speed is very low; sometimes they work, or sometimes they do not work. The food provided in the hostel is sometimes good or bad, as our friends say. At the beginning, the food is good, but after that, it is bad. Medical facilities are provided by the college.
Faculty: The teachers have great knowledge and a lot of skills. Teaching quality is good, and they provide TPP classes for students to get placed, with the help of which students are placed and perform well. Semester exams are very easy; if you study one night before the exam, you will easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I have to specialize in cloud computing; therefore, I chose this, and here the cost is less compared to other colleges. One thing I don't like is the main reason about the campus because we are sent to another campus not in the main campus.
