Placements: There is very less placement for mechanical students. The companies hire 2-3 students but at a very low package which is equivalent to a person working as a labourer. Even the placement officer doesn't make efforts to get more companies inside the campus. There are only mechanical and automation streams available which reduce the chances to enter into PSU through GATE.

Placements: No placement for the mechanical engg. batch 2013-17. Due to the poor T&P cell, placements are rare. Some CSE students do get placed but for mechanical students, placements are like a miracle. The remote location of the college is also a reason for poor placements. No company has visited our college for biotechnology students till date.

Placements: No placement. No company wants to come here because of its remote location. Placement opportunities are good for computers student only. They get placed in PSUs and big private firms too. Mechanical placement and faculty both are not up to the mark. The civil and electrical placements opportunities are there but not as the computer department.

Placements: CSE - Only 35-36 students got placed from our college which is definitely hard to believe but its true and the maximum package was around 2-2.5 lakhs. Moving to the mechanical branch, only a few students got selected and the highest package was approx 2.5 lakhs. Other branches have placement worse than this. Only two companies, Wipro and RVNL, visited the campus and only about 50 students got placed in a batch of 600 which is very disappointing for all the juniors also. Placements: Not very good with reference to placements. You can go for off campus interviews on your own. The only companies that visit the campus are offering you around 1.5 lakh package. So, it's better to go to a good college rather than wasting your time here. Very few students get placed from here. Those too who work on their own. So, if you are getting into this college, make sure you are going to work from the first day to the last on your own. Don't get involved in the politics. ...

Placements: Below average placement. The college does not provide any help to all the students regarding placements since they only invite fake company cum consultancy. The placement cell does not take any initiation regarding students' placement. There are a lot of disputes among the administration itself.

Placements: The placement was good at the time of our seniors, when we were in the 2nd year i.e. 2014. But at our time, it became poor. Only 4-5 students out of 60 from CSE got placed there. Most of the companies that came are either fake or did not give offer letter in hand and later they just gave excuses. The highest package which was offered was 3.5 lpa by Xebia.

Placements: The placement percentage of this college is very poor. About 30% of students are getting placed from this college. The average package of this college is 3.10 lakhs. Wipro, TCS, Adobe, Honda, RVNL and BEL are the companies which visited this college for the campus placement. No student got the internship from this college.

Placements: The least and worst salary packages a graduate or a postgraduate can get here. Whether a student is a graduate or postgraduate, he/she is placed likewise but is offered 10,000 for MBA or PGDM. They also will not teach you anything great. The highest salary offered for graduates is 17,000 and for a PGDM student which I know is 35,000 in a city like Mumbai. We were the first batch of our college and had high hopes regarding the future placements, and moreover, our college is a government college made by THDC and it is a PSU, so we think that there would be some kind of placement as after all it is a hydropower college. Shivalik Group of Institutes is the smallest and worst university in the entire university. Nothing in the name of education takes place there and there are no proper equipment and labs for students. In some cases, students are not allowed to enter or use the labs. Good- Auditorium and Reference Library are the excellent places. Bad- 1. Charged 13000rs/student as placement assistance money (2014 batch) and no receipt was provided. Even some of the students who could not give the money on time were made to leave the exam hall during internal examinations. 2. Washrooms are the worst! Good: Found a great bunch of friends, exam pattern was good. Attendance is not a big issue until you score good in academics. Bad: no bridging between student union and higher authority, bounded and imposed way of teaching and entitled to internal marks partiality. Placements: There is a very limited number of companies, and there is no proper internship available for students in my college. The faculty does not focus on placements; they focus on our attendance instead. They do not provide leave for medical reasons and just want us to have 75% attendance.
