VIT Chennai MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2024
MBA at VIT Chennai is a two-year programme designed to give candidates an edge on the needs of the industry by providing a resolute and innovative curriculum that focuses on developing thought leaders, who are innovative, socially sensitive, ethically strong, and globally competitive. The management school also has strong ties with the corporate sector enabling practical exposure.
The programme offers specialisation in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations & Business Analytics. VIT Chennai MBA also has 1+1 exchange programmes with US-partnered universities and 12 weeks of Summer Industry Internships at the end of 1st year. As part of the fourth semester, students do a LIVE project with MSMEs of India.
VIT Chennai MBA admissions are based on the CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT or ATMA entrance exam conducted by the institute. The eligibility criterion is as follows:
- A Bachelor's degree should be of a minimum of three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2+3, +4 or +5) or equivalent.
- The candidates appearing for the final year examination in 2025, whose results will be published on or before 14th August 2025, are also eligible to apply.
- Selection based on best score in CAT / XAT / MAT / NMAT / GMAT / CMAT / ATMA.
- The eligibility criteria is relaxed by 10% in UG degree for applicants belonging to SC/ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
VIT Chennai MBA Fees 2024
The total tuition fee for the course is INR 7 lakh which is inclusive of a one-time application fee of INR 1,200. MBA at VIT Chennai is two years long and the fee is supposed to be paid over four semesters. The VIT Chennai MBA fee is not inclusive of the hostel fee, security fee, and other expenses at the time of admission.
